I'm not saying they are completely useless ...currently they has been a little more valuable due to using as a bait for silo and comes out from fort in any case... but still they are the worst of all!
For proving it lets compare Generals with others units :
Howitzers : they have splash and massive damage against buildings/troops and they can shot over the wall , but Generals not at all!
Mortar : its same like howitzer!
Riflemen : they can shot over the walls and , but Generals not at all!
(its very interesting to me how a stuff by upgrading and spending more money can lose its ability !
Napoleon can shot over the walls but once it became a tank (at lvl 21) he will lose this ability ! its more like a joke , but it is true because these are NEXON and BHG and everything is possible!)
Machine gun: they have splash damage against defenders, but Generals not at all!
Bazooka: they have massive damage against tanks and walls . but Generals not at all!
Commandos: they are stealthy and have massive damage against defensive buildings, but Generals not at all!
APC : they spawning troops during the battle , but Generals not at all!
Wall breakers: they have extremely damage against walls , but Generals not at all! LoL
Raiders : they moves very fast and have massive damage against resources, but Generals not at all ! LoL ! shame on Generals, even they are worse than raiders!
As everyone knows Generals more looks like tanks (due to have high hp), now lets compare them with tanks :
Heavy tanks: they have splash and massive damage against tanks, but generals not at all!
it's very funny HT takes advantage of additional damage against Generals but Generals have nothing special to deal with them!
(other) Tanks : tanks have favorite targets like defensive buildings that is very applicable and those have not that but instead they have a massive damage against something important , but Generals only have massive damage against each other !!!
If we look at Generals deeply and accurately, we will realized that they are units that created only for each other ! even in lvl 60 nothing new will be added! only those are horseman will become tank at lvl 21 !
if we remove Generals from both sides (offense & defense) nothing happens !!
even they don't lead any troops during the battle ! so what kind of generals they are ? yes , they only carries the name of the Generals !
As everyone knows currently defense is overpowered,now its a good opportunity to balance the game by placing Generals in their real place and making them really worthwhile , if devs team looking for it in their brains !
General means Commander means someone who is the best unit in the army and have high & special skills !
these are my suggestions :
-Generals needs to have additional damage against tanks (any kind of tank),
-they should have additional damage against wall (not like wall breakers but they should have additional damage against walls).
-regular DPS should increase at least 2x.
-they should have splash damage against anything.
-they should move or fire faster.
- it would be great if we could see special skills from each one of them at certain levels like (for exp):
ability to spawn troops at lvl 30
ability to change favorite target mode to defensive building / defenders / any / Generals ... mode during the battle at lvl 40
ability to change the range of the fire from 1 to 5 at lvl 50
ability to shot over the walls at lvl 60
ability to fly (in offensive mode) at lvl 70 (lvl 70 in SpaceA)
