in the long run, retrains save you some rss that you can just gain otherwise. crowns give you the ability to reroll. crowns are the game changer. retrains are just quality of life improvement.

which is the real game changer may be just a difference in opinions. but fact is you were also guilty of being disappointed with free stuff

The free retrain really has affected my game life (and every player, that's so obvious), that's why I also spoke up for it to return to 9 hours and 59 minutes. Video rewards? Nah, it's a side dish, no urge
Those two things are not comparable.
I'm not against crown rewards, really. Even though in the past I RARELY watched crown ads (believe me or not, I didn't like the ''chance of getting...'' idea) I wouldn't mind if they changed it back). But I honestly prefer this current variation of rewards, as I always say in every post against it.

Funny when first I checked it, it had 4 responses. To get anything free in this game is great. Even though I won’t watch the videos for the recruits, as I said, I know that some players will find them useful. I don’t know what age the cut off was but it wasn’t that everyone got the same troops. As far as my alliance members told me gunpowder and lower got helis as their final reward, not heavy tanks.

If if it wasn’t myself it would’ve been someone to bring it up. And definitely the ones that would have more of an issue would be the players that have been at the game for a long time. It’s not that I go against any changes in the game, there are a lot of things I like. I prefered the rebalance because it’s true that everything seemed to be the same and that really turned the game upside down at least for a while. At least in my wars, using the max number of elephant archers no longer wins it like it used to. My slight frustrations are more related to how the game makes it seem like “We heard your critiques and due to popular demand we will not add more variety to video rewards” which clearly wasn’t the case. Respond with like/dislike/sarcasm, it doesn’t matter. The more responses things get, you’d think they might take notice though of course it won’t change back. Coincidently now we have this damn donation thing that is really kicking our asses and it’s only gotten worse. Fix this before rolling out these video reward updates. Probably why I was extra peeved when I first wrote the post.

How about a Pirate Ship?
In another post l said Nexon should offer us incentives for the more videos we watch eg: if we watch vids 5 days in a row then we should get say, 500 crowns or a CW HT army, etc. Maybe if we watch vids each day for a fortnight (correct spelling) we get a building?
I'm betting people would watch crappy videos daily if the weekly or fotnightly bonus is worthwhile.

This is very common in games. It not only encourages people to watch videos but it also promotes daily logins. Average daily users is an important metric for apps. Nexon could boost this metric with your idea.

kilgore_trout what is generous about the previous crown offer? No one was watching videos nexon needed money so they raised the crown reward. You do realize crowns are not real? It is artificial currency that buys artificial upgrades. In fact crowns are nothing more then a psychological trap in the first place. It’s a way of getting people to blow more money on something worthless. It’s an old scam that’s been around for centuries. Why do you think you use chips in a casino? It’s because it dissociates people from how much they are spending. But unlike chips crowns have no value they can not be turned in for real money. So how is giving away fake money generous. Here have a billion blood coins …your welcome don’t spend it all in one place.

I have played many games and many offered significantly more rewards then dominations. Expand your horizons.

Sometimes, the team likes to include rewards like Recruits and Tactics in order to provide a low-risk way to try different loadouts. We recently changed the video rewards, and will likely do so again periodically!

One recruit of a few random types does nothing to make it cheaper to try different loadouts. Did you miss the amount of complaining about recruits back when they were "random" video rewards, and when you guys sold them at Marco? They are crap and should be removed from the game.

Props for bringing the video retrains back to twice a day - that was big in my enjoyment of the game post rebalance. Very positive, and probably more important to gameplay than what you have done with the other videos.

But seriously. Ditch the recruits.

I understand wanting to voice your opinion, but damn take a step back, brush your teeth, and think about whether video rewards are worth getting upset about. giving 5 ht recruits to an industrial ager actually would be a nice way to get him to try the all-ht loadout. but that is the only situation where that works as intended. if im an atomic and i receive 5 mk1s, im not trying them. if i receive mk5s, that means i was already using them.
