Gifts expire...really?

So the gifts our clan mates gift us expire...why? U guys take something and ruin it at the same time! It's bad enough u expose who spends $, so why not put a time limit on it! I'd say I am surprised, but NOTHING u guys do surprises me anymore.

So besides making the "gift" anonymous, any chance u
rethink the time limit on gifts?

More than likely because it is a stress on the server if such information is piled on it for too long. People already complain about network issues, if gifts didn't expire it would probably be worse.

I am a computer engineer and what you are saying has unfortunately 0 base and 100% incorrect

permanent gifts would have 0.000001% stress on the server on this scale of game at max

you are assuming that dominations is programmed efficiently, yes? If software architecture is like baboon bottom than maybe it will explode server to hold gifts....server must be free to excrete gifts and clear virtual digestive track so new globs of creativity can be produced!
