Guerrillas attacking the Parliament. Why?

After the latest update, the guerrillas/saboteurs/infiltrators - whatever the level you are - are targeting also the Parliament as an defensive building. Has anyone notices this? Is it a bug? I can't understand the logic why the Parliament should be attacked by this troop when there are towers, tank depots etc still in action. I'd rather have them attacking those houses that are developed to send defenders.

Maybe there is something coming that the Parlament is also a defensive building. Maybe that’s why it has a circle also. Still not implemented. Let’s see What’s coming

I noticed this too, I think it is a distraction function. Like how a wall-blaster, when placed directly in front of a wall, prefers to walk half a screen away to the bastion. On the other hand, the stronghold is considered a defensive bldg (for one deployment), but actually holds a nice% of juicy resources.

Aargh! I hate the problem of those wall-blasters doing their extra hiking. That has messed my attack plan totally a couple of times. Once I noticed that the idiot was walking towards the bastion that was quite far away, instead of blasting the wall that was right in front of him, so I wasted a rally command to pinpoint which spot I needed him to demolish. That had no effect. Despite the direct command, the bugger still went where he wanted, getting killed in the process, obviously.

I've never seen anything comfirming or denying it but everything runs towards bastions because while it's supposed to be one 90,000 hp (for example) piece the attack 'logic' (haha) considers the part of it it wants to break as 90,000 ÷ 6 = 15,000 hp piece. In other words, far, far, lower than any of the walls or even gates it's attached to. Since the AI looks for the path of least resistance they zero in on bastions then spend precious seconds idiotically dancing around in the rubble.

Really obnoxious, but sadly, par for the course with this dev team. Hell, from what I can tell they've never even fixed the bastion placement bug in the two(?) years since revealing them. And of course, I'm sure the plan is to allow people to build two more bastions with each subsequent age until the game is rendered completely unplayable.

A little off-topic, but one of my pet peeves when I log in every few weeks.

Because the Reichstag was a nutorisly good deffensive building, so maybe Dominations is taking notes.

Off-topic or not, I can understand, because I hate those bastions so much too.

Here's another stupid problem I've bumped into with them... There is an open bastion. The open side towards the centre of the base. An oil field is inside the bastion. I send a raider to steal the oil from it. Instead of just going around to do his job, the raider starts shooting the bastion, and failing completely to do anything useful. Rallying the raider to a spot next to the open side of the bastion, the raider moves there and suddenly notices: Oh, I see! There's an easy access to oil too! Let's raid that building then!

The crooked implementation of bastions greatly spoiled the game - troops are drawn to them like a magnet.. For me, the bastions have been a major pain in the ass for the past year.

Archius, observe these fine troops who have rallied south and are determined to ignore the wide opening to their east. This game’s AI is (fill in the blank).
Bootney Lee, good maths. I always wondered if troops were just attracted because it stuck further fwd, but your HP idea has merit.

The Ai works this way. You lock a target and the troops are going directly to this target. If there is a wall between, the wall is locked as a target on priority. After destroying the target, the new target will be locked. If the wall nearby is destroyed but the actual target is already locked, the single troop will not see this opportunity.
it’s not that stupid to let Ai run this way, because if you check the surrounding continuously, you definitely needs more calculating power of your device. And you can be sure, this game have to run on old devices as well.

it is a trade off between calculating power needed and intelligent troops. The more troops you have, the more power you need. That was also the reason why you had limited troops in the beginning of this game. With time, new ages and more donated troops came into this game because the game was not supporting the old devices anymore.

i Hope you can follow this thoughts.

for some years, there are a lot of glitch or cheat in game.spacially in ww.but in 2-3 last update,Nexon fixed a lot of cheat ways.and it is so good.thanks developer team.
there is extra builder cheat yet.but its not my problem.its nexon problem.all tbat my alliance have,is that we have fair ww.
notice that replays have a problem.and doesn't show right stars or troops.it doesn't mean your opponet use 10 fighter or etc,(its imposible-you can check troops in attack).so,you must work on your museum for win.
if you have weak museum, you are loser .
Dominations=stronger museum wins
and its part of game.I read a lot from losers team that saying;our opponet cheat..evry days.If you see any cheat in ww,its better you write about here ,so developer can fix it.not good just say; we lose so opponets used cheat.

This response works for troops in general - your other answer works better for sabos targeting the parliament.
