That's the reason I got suckered into getting it. Then I realized, the water doesn't move!

I have the Hanging Gardens. At first I got it just because it looked pretty but now I really like it because I realized what it does. The time for regeneration is much faster. I have the 4 trees there and with the gathering blessing I get 1,400 food from each tree so it's like 5,600 in extra food plus the farms. And the same with mining plus the gold roads and caravans. I really like the hanging gardens and I think it ups the amount of gathering by the ages, right? I hope so. Bc then if not, I may change it later. But it's useful for now.

When you reach higher Ages, all your citizens will be busy for days and you will not have anyone free to press the trees and mines. That's when you start to feel that the Hanging Gardens is useless.

HG is definitely the worst wonder ever at least for Bronze age. I chose it too and now changed to acropolis which is better but its range is not that good at all. Wonders need to be buffed.

Will definitely be changing mine. Which one do you recommend ? Acropolis ?
I'm also thinking to change the Colosseum by Notre Dame because of the high prices of the upgrades. Will eventually go back to Colosseum once everything is upgraded.

It is true that it is not the best wonder but I wouldn't say it is the worse either. In my opinion it is the second best after Acropolis.

The reason for that is the other two wonders; Pyramids and Stonehenge provide bonus to farms and caravan/roads. The production from farm/roads is so low that you cannot upgrades a building just from it without farming. Trees and mines gives Cider and Stones which are useful in mercenaries and blessing. Hanging garden reduces the collection by 50% so there is more chances of getting them because of that I put Hanging Garden before Stonehenge and Pyramids.

I switched to Stonehenge. I find the benefits are much better than the Gardens. At Medieval Age, you hardly get to benefit from the Garden's benefits because most of your citizens are tied down with long tasks. For Stonehenge, it gives an extra 20% to Caravan gold collection - which means overnight after I wake up from sleep, each of my Caravans would give around 6-7K+ gold and I have 8 of them. This gives me approx 8-10K+ extra. In a day, I can get roughly about 20K+ more gold. I have not maxed out my Caravans at this age yet.

Other than that, it gives an extra 100% road efficiency. At the moment, my base focuses more on road efficiency than defense. So I'm at 460% efficiency and the extra 100% makes it even more (560%).
