I think that it would be nice, since the attackers have the medic caravans to cure their troops.. The defenders should be able to cure thenselves also. And the higher level the hospital is, the more it can cure pr second and the bigger the radius should be. I mean all injured troops within the hospitals radius should recive healing :)

I have always perceived defensive structures as being an indirect means for healing defenders, so to speak. That said having a Hospital with this ability, and within a specific radius like you suggest, would provide more tactical and practical control of healing... so long as a) the healing is not instantaneous (time lapse, up to and including full) and b) a player cannot construct enough Hospitals to cover their entire base.

The second of these qualifications I'm adding in particular would require choice, choices even (as part of Age advancements), on the part of the player... and preferably strategic ones. :D
