I selected 260% dps, 50% protect, but also the movement speed increase should be included. The assault rally should be a way to mitigate the 60-70% slow and damage reduction of the barbed wire but not make it OP with 40 little RPGS running around like ants on meth.

90% protect is way too much protect, ie. RPG can take 4-5 full hits from anti-tank gun and still be standing.
If the protect portion was reduced to around 60-70% protect and the attack speed was reduced to 5, 10, 15, 20% increase the assault rally would be fixed.

For me this is another catch 22. Disclaimer my ar is only lv 2 so I don’t have the experience others have. I can see how it could be over powered for ww. I can see how this would be very frustrating for people who honestly upgraded their bases. But I quit war, so I only use it in mp. At 45 minutes training time I don’t feel it is op for mp. I carry one or two into a battle. They have saved my bacon a few times. You know that feeling you get 5 seconds after you release your planes on an atomic just to realize they have exploited the museum bug? I’d rather sacrifice a 45 minute tactic then 10k oil worth of troops. The game is so unbalanced and pay to win now why not just have different stats for ww and mp? Everything else does.

This doesn’t include the speed boost. With speed and DPS, AR should have 0 Protect.

Everybody knows it takes far longer to build up your defences than it does to just concentrate on building a strong offensive army. People (like me, for example, :)) who have spent a long time building a strong defensive base should be rewarded for their efforts!

After the rebalance I quite enjoyed seeing players who were perhaps one age and 40 levels above me get completely annihilated attacking my base in both war and multiplayer. The AR tactic, as it stands, has made all the changes brought about by the rebalance pointless. If this tactic is left as overpowered as it is now, there is very little incentive to improve your defences.

I vote 260% dps and 50% protect

What about people lower than you? Don't they need an incentive to keep playing?
To NOT quit after recent changes made defense so much stronger?
Or would you prefer to have a diminishing pool of players with strong defenses?

AR is only available in Global age, so your point is kind of irrelevant. Making it available in lower ages might encourage more players to keep playing. Something else to consider perhaps - but even then it shouldn't be as powerful as it is now

I'm not sure how irrelevant my comment is since Globals and Atomics are the future CWs and SAs, and we'll need them sooner or later. Unless you're happy to keep playing the same people over and over again?
Anyway, at least we both agree the AR shouldn't be as OP as it currently is.

The tactic was already overpowered before the "fix" came in. It is way too many benefits at once, movement speed + DPS + protect (plus better not forget the main point of the tactic in the first place: control. This alone is quite powerful already as a group rally.)... they are already destroying everything like crazy by the first two benefits, why does it need protect too? If you want protect on the units then combine the AR with the Protect tactic, simple as that. This makes AR less overpowered, and brings back Protect to be less irrevelant. 2 birds with one stone.

Remove the protect element.

lower people can attack people even lower, or rushed-higher bases. thats what most of us did right?

and agreeing on that AR shouldn’t be as powerful as it is now - still quite early, but currently in the poll less than 30% disagree

pckrn Since you have mentioned 667% DPS output as current effect, I assume that the Assault rally bug has been fixed with the Space Age update and should I therefore be upgrading my Assault rally above level 2?

You know that feeling you get 5 seconds after you release your planes on an atomic just to realize they have exploited the museum bug

What is this Bug you are talking about?

AR: yes you should upgrade

museum: there used to be a bug that when exploited, gave you free museum materials so you could upgrade your artifacts quickly

My comment was simply about enticing lower players to attack higher and not quit, something a lot of people have commented on in the past.

Sometimes bad luck is blamed on something, like the museum for example.
