I have a quick, 3-part Survey question...

What Age are you?, How developed are your defenses?,
(How close to Maxed out in that Age )
and How often are you Attacked?
For me, I'm Gunpowder, almost Maxed, and I get ONE attack per week.
I make between fifteen to thirty attacks per day, on average. It seems a little imbalanced.

U would advance faster if u focused less on ur defense and economy. U could have gone to ea long time ago and benefited greatly.

Brand new EA, troops/offensive/library maxed in GP, defensive 70%. Started EA immediately after market upgrade to 3M. Still gave me 7 days upgrade time to catch up on important upgrades. EA will give me 25 extra troops at higher damage for all troops = easier to loot for those expensive upgrades.

If I have too much loot, I get attacked. If I plan correctly, they leave me in peace Empty stash = Cheap defence.

Level 116 Industrial @ 1850 medals (medals determine how often and the kind of attacks)

Basically GP defenses, EA army, just got to IA and have Armory done, waiting 8 days for first troop. Classical/Medieval caravans and farms.

Attacked 3 times a day, every time I log off, mostly snipes on TC.

Generally loot for upgrades is not a problem, it's lack of workers that is the problem with upgrades taking 8+ days. You will be sat with maxed mills for days on end, excess gold can be poured into walls.

Oil and diamonds are the more troublesome two unless you have a penchant for snails in garlic butter or as my troops say 'escargots au beurre d'ail'

EA, Medieval-GP defences, max economy, GP units with EA space, raiders and ranged attacked whenever I log off or pt expires.

Medal range and to a lesser extent loot on offer are the main cause of attacks +/-.

EA, maxed offense, mostly GA defense. Medieval economy.

Around 2600 medals, I get attacked the second I log off or PT expires. Sometimes I even get attacked while under Peace Treaty, thanks for that Hunter Killer

I'm 48, have good defences (a black belt in karate), at 115 kg I'm pretty well maxed out for my age and I never get attacked....hope that info helps.

I'm Gunpowder, level 90, all buildings are maxed, with nearly maxed defenses and offenses. I'm currently upgrading my TC to Enlightenment Age. I'm working on upgrading all my traps and finishing upgrades on my Generals, both of which should be done a few days before I enter EA. Then I'll be maxed defense/offense for Gunpowder Age.

My farms and caravans are pretty pathetic... all level 6. Was gonna max them but I'm too impatient. Lol

Before this week I got attacked once every few days, I got attacked twice today, and twice yesterday, none of them got anything except a thousand or so resources. Only 2 attacks in the past couple of weeks got through my walls and they stole some trade goods and gold.

I only took 1 medal from you so it wasn't a massive blow . Someone in my alliance lost 90 medals last night while in peace treaty...

i was in the same position as you OP. i didnt advance to EA until i was maxed out on my defenses. the last few weeks of GP it wasnt abnormal for me to go a few days with only one inbound attack. i could be sitting on 2mil in resources and still not be attacked, it was weird and lonely, lol. its much different now that im in EA, though. i usually get attacked as soon as i log out.

Just started on IA upgrade. Maxed out EA base except walls, generals and economy. Usually attacked 1-5 times pr day, depending if the attack gives me a PT or not.

And to follow up on Aussie guy; 43yo, Black belt, 85 kg. Moves like a butterfly - sting like a bee. Never attacked
