Idea for Alliance Wars

Ok so I was thinking of how an alliance war could go down.

It would be cool if it was sort of some type of real time arena war. Each player in each alliance would put down say, 5,000 gold and 5,000 food as an entry fee. The maximum one can put as an entry fee will be determined by the average age of the alliance. So each player in each alliance will put, say the average age is Classical and has a maximum of 15k food and 15k gold entry. both alliances will be fighting for that pot of resources. If theres 100 players all putting in 15k food and 15k gold (1.5M each resource), theres chance for up to 30k food and 30k gold for each member in the winning alliance. To make things interesting, the TOP player in that alliance war, say they killed the most upgraded enemy troops or the majority of them, they get 10% of all inputted resources. So with an alliance with 50 people, the top player would get 150k of each resource, and everyone else would get 27k+ of each resource.

When it would come to two alliances with different amounts of members, say one has 50, but the other has only 25, the total would have to be divided among them, so as an entry fee, the one with less members in the alliance would have to pay more, but the reward, if the war is won, would be alot more also.

I like the idea but was thinking of a more involved alliance type war. First they need a counter for the points earned in a war. Then it works like 1 civilization(alliance) against another main castle on 1 side with another on the other then you battle on the interconnect lines between changing them to your team allowing you to then spread to the next till u reach the main castle. But the other alliance can block u by taking back one of the links you have claimed. Make it like a sliding scale. Costs you double the number of points to take a captured link then an unclaimed one. And make the prizes more interesting like 5% or 10% discount on your next research or build.

How about like a start from scratch type of battle, each player gets a certain amount of defensive buildings and a flag (or something) and they get say 45 seconds to build a defensive base to defend that flag. They don't have to use all buildings of course, but whatever they can see beneficial and what they can place in those 45 seconds. Then the other alliance comes and battles the base for the flag.
