I have been playing Dominations since March 2015. I started because I liked Age of Empires I, II & III; excellent graphics, easy to control troops, no cheaters, excellent strategy game for the PC.
The current Dominations game for mobile devices, at the beginning was excellent, graphics were good, strategy was helped by attack AI and rally that actually worked properly, and the individual units operated as advertised .... game was FUN.
However, as the summer has progressed the game has lost its lustre and FUN. Excellent graphics make the game lag and crash on my device, strategy has been badly compromised by
the changes made to the attack AI and rally (both of which appear to be broken), security has become a major problem with the Dominations server being hacked multiple times,
cheaters are alive and not well controlled, and the Customer Support is very poor (probably because they are overworked and not well supported by the rest of the company).
In our technology gaming world, games with potential (like Dominations) are copied and improved .... IMO it is only a matter of time before some smart person or company
will come up with a dominations like game but without the issues I have mentioned and then your user base will move on. Please take steps to improve the game
so it is not replaced by a domination like clone !!
FUN factor has dropped significantly since March ... so has my playing time
.
My opinion is Dominations could have been the best game of the summer, but since it has been changed over the course of the summer my vote is "'not the best game of summer" or
any other season
