We've been testing the new AI since the current update and can definitively say it's broken AGAIN. Don't get me wrong it wasn't fantastic before this update but it's certainly gotten worse! We've compiled a nice screenshot album of artillery, gattling gunners, tanks and foot soldiers blasting away at walls with holes right next to them. This issue was delt with months ago. How the F*%# can they keep making the same mistakes over and over again! At this point it's insult to injury. I think thier coding department found a way to insure job security. Just screw up the game every update so they can spend another month fixing it for the next update. All the while making sure to wreck something else and continue the cycle.

Ah, good old AI. But what would we talk about if they fixed it? Oh yes, I forgot about the crashing, lagging battles, hackers/cheats, broken peace treaties, forced close and the no opponents issue in top leagues. I won't mention rarely finding diamonds. Oops, I just did. :)

I don't know why they're making the same mistakes with AI but agree they are. Maybe it's on purpose?

Frankly Pramenion I wonder how the game has survived this long with everything you mentioned.

Are you sure it's broken again - and not just still broken?!! It doesn't seem to me like there was ever any point in the last few weeks where it was better - only to 'break' again. I've seen the same idiocy for the last few months but I've just gotten used to it.

Apart from attackers still shooting at walls next to holes in walls I've had 3 separate incidents - involving 3 separate types of troops - in 3 separate battles - just turn and walk away from partially attacking a building, attack another building to destruction and walk back to finish the first building!!!

Added to that I had 3 artillery units attack a wall to get to a building on the other side. When the wall was destroyed, 2 walked through while the other turned around, attacked a wall behind him and then walked through this new hole to get to the building in question!

Yes the AI regressed with patch 2.5. Before that, all units would be attacking the same wall piece.

How do you "improve" the AI? You re-introduced old bugs that were already fixed. Then in the next patch, you come out trumpeting that you've improved it, just applying fixes you already know about.

HK, can you ask Sir Jailbroken what he thought of my puzzle base, please? :)

(Mark from Nations League but have now switched to road income layout for PT)

The AI was far from perfect before this update. With the most recent patch though it most certainly got worse. Everyone on my end has experienced the AI doing things it didn't do before the new update.

At this Point I am thinking this is planned. As some wrote, it worked before, then they fixed it to make it worse.

The latest Patch notes are big, yes, but they do not address the problems that drive away the players.

Well, let's just hope some day they wake up and realize what they have done wrong the whole time, and fix it.

I'm having a lot of trouble with my healers gimping out and jumping on the spot where I deployed them, contributing nothing to the battle

Sure the AI isnt perfect or working as intuitively as you may like, but its manageable. Why are you guys always b*tching about such petty things. I'd rather see posts about how to work with what we have.
