Just a few suggestions since the last update. I have played this game since launch (>2 years) and this is the worst update I've seen.
- When searching for multiplayer opponents it now takes a very long time to cycle through, sometimes takes half an hour to find someone I want to attack.
- The new building is pointless in my opinion. Its only useful for those people who buy extra armies with real money. the vast majority of players never have more than 1 or 2 troop tactics which we pick up from progressing through events which are becoming harder and harder to complete.
- War has become impossible to win. It comes from bad matching. We have lost the last 10 wars and I think its because we allow players of any level join our alliance. We range from atomic age to medieval age and I shouldnt have to kick out low level players just because of that. It costs me on average 300k food for each attack and when we lose my reward is 200k food. If you dont take into account the food costs of filling the war map I lose 400k food just for going to war. It makes us not want to war anymore when before we warred constantly. An idea for better matching should come from leagues where if alliances have lost a lot of wars they get demoted to a lower league until you reach a point where matches are much more even. Let us know why we are being matched with the teams we are. The current system with points is very confusing and none of us even know what the point of the points are.
- Going on from war issues, its far too hard to save up food. I would have to be online for around 3 hours without logging off to attack maybe 4 players. Each attack can cost 300k food for atomic age so id have to search for players who have at least 400k food to steal which is rare. meaning for 4 attacks id save 400k food total. If i then log out an attack can make me lose 500-600k food if I have around 6million food. This means I have to stay online all day to save up for the 9million food it costs to upgrade my howitzers.
- Troop tactic donations are pointless. Anyone who wants to play for free will never have the troop tactics to donate. Which means you are giving paid players an advantage in war. Also for opponents Ive attacked who have troop tactics donated I've seen the troops appear right next to the troops I'm deploying so they can destroy my army before Ive ever deployed them.
- Other buildings that I've found to be pointless are the university which I have not used since it launched. At atomic level my villagers are always too busy for researching stuff that takes longer to research than it does to save for the discounts it gives. I will start using this building if you remove the need for villagers to research.
- The only good thing about the last update is the extra research slot, which you have added the very steep price of 1000 crowns to unlock. Why did you have to add a price to it?
