I am looking for a alliance that takes war seriously. I don't care about the frequency of war, just that when the alliance chooses to war there aren't piles of missed attacks. I am a high gunpowder age account. 3 Level 9 generals and 1 Level 10 general. 88 level 8 walls, 22 level 7 walls. All other troops and defenses maxed. 3 units of research left in the library (Commerce 4, Zeal 4, Battle Tactics 4) I am undecided whether I will get walls to 9 before proceeding to enlightenment age. 169 war stars on a weekly war schedule. Serious alliances and inquires only please.

Defiance with in has a spot for you. We take war seriously, have 100% participation in most wars. We have a great war strategy and a great record to go with it. Following a transitional phase, and a rough war patch, we are in excellent form, and have a 15 win streak and climbing.

Hope you found a good alliance to suit your playing style. Different alliances suit different types of players, some are chattier than others, some quieter, some take the p*** out of each other, some are very polite; so dont be afraid to try several different ones before you commit for definite.
About leveling up: at your stage, the idle workers are too much of a wasted resource not to move up to EA. Enlightenment brings a huge jump in fire power. Yeah you'll be cannon fodder for those hungry IA accounts for a while. But once you develop some EA defence they will move onto the next unsuspecting new EA account. Do it now.
