Medal dumping for resources!

This really needs to be taken care of AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! This game is becoming much less enjoyable and much more aggravating with these medal dumpers for resources. Yeah, the bright side is gaining more medals without battling but it's not worth the hard earned resources constantly being taken in a single day. I'm getting attacked about 3 times a day on average before someone finally earns stars on me to give me a peace treaty. Because of this, I'm losing more oil than what I can collect in a day. World wars are the only way it's possible to get back all that's been lost within 2 days ONLY if the war was won. I've spent a lot of money on crowns just to try to stay afloat on upgrades to help on defense, but it's pointless when medal dumpers are constantly attacking your resources and ending the attack. There are several ways to either put an end to this or at least balance it out. Maybe only allowing a small percentage of the loot if they don't earn any stars or being given a short peace treaty after being attacked and winning defensively... It's not fair to those of us who work hard for our resources and medals just to have it all, plus more, stolen this way by players taken an easy route for resources. Please work on this issue. It's coming to a point where I'm not going to be spending any more money on this game and possibly quitting altogether.

We all figured out a way to make it through this, it's part of the game. You gotta defend your oil like crazy or just let go of the medals so can have peace treaties (put your tc out in the open).

Just cause the game is challenging does not mean it's broken....

I believe if ya understand how to raid, then ya understand how to protect what ya just raided/harvested. There are hundreds of tuff base designs out there, your raid was a waste cause ya lost your whole army and received very little, yeah ya might need to incorporate that base into your own ;-]

Unfortunately Nodds.. as it stands you just need to sacrifice one for the other depending on whats more important... I wouldnt worry too much about medals (too many big boys out there) I dunno when you last looked at my base but at about 1500 medals the (partly) protected townhall is the way to go... No more scouting for hours. The hope is a medal hunter hits you and gives peace treaty before the ultimate base buggering for resources...
We are still British Lions! if you wanna take a peek.... get your town hall outta the middle mate when tou fairly high on resources.

So I had a thought regarding medal dumping and how it might be curbed somewhat. What it the cost of continuous one & done attacks went up exponentially? This might also apply to all the raiders out there too. (Maybe the cost could double each time?)
Perhaps it could be tied to Stars earned or a timer. Basically if you are quickly dumping your infantry as fast as you can you will rack up a hefty gold bill to do so. If you earn a star or wait X amount of time and the price resets. (5 min, 10 min?)
Would this dicourage medal dumping? I actually have mixed feelings about it myself.

I dont believe there should be discouragement for the one infantry medal dump or even the wall miner and raider attacks .. It is what it is and anyone north of gunpowder has probably seen it ... The best solution is to get in a medal range that doesn't see these attacks .. The second best solution is to park that town center out in the open and hope for a peace treaty.

we all fought through it and we are all still here. No need to quit the game from a little adversity. It is war after all and sometimes people just want your stuff.

Try having a few base designs. I have two I swap between. One with the base on the outside so people can get 2 stars easy. The other from making people commit all troops for a win.

Are you tired of your alliance?

when you lose too much oil, try to use raiders and miners, you have no idea of how many people don't protect their oil. so you can get 1000 oil with 4 raiders, do it constantly in an hour with TB and you'll be able to gain 20k of oil quickly...only problem is scouting, but with a little patience you'll find what you are looking for.
I still prefer 5 starring people to gain oil (same ammount in an hour, but more fun and risk) but this way works too.
Then, as many said, try a layout with TC outside the walls, you have good chances to have a treaty and no oil stolen. I also leave my food mills outside so people tend to steal the food (why???) and leave the oil.

I'd also like to say that medal game to gain resources( going up and down) is the best way to gain resources quickly. Everybody can do it, you too!
I don't see why caring about medals before you are a capped global, as it slows down a lot your game without giving you any extra bonus (trade goods from the boat are not enough)
I used to care about medals, I had to play on treaty, break a treaty only if i could play for an hour, using tattics in multi to avoid loosing all the army, i also tought of building the eiffel tower, but for what?

Gold bills multiplied for every tapping of the "next opponent" button? Wow, if this is implemented then I hope you get hit hard because how many times have you went raiding and found a suitable base to raid with the first offering?

In my mind that idea sux when you've just advanced in age and every first search could possibly be a match with a capped age above you. Just saying that it will not effect "medal droppers" alone.

If you are referring to my post good sir then I suggest you reread it. Hitting 'Next' is not what I was getting at. Of course everyone scouts a few bases before they attack.
I'll admitt I've conducted a few raiding sessions myself and I still have mixed feelings on the matter. Now that I am a fresh into IA the GA accounts come calling so I just have to roll with it and earn it back. The key is trying to spend it before logging out!

Sorry for my misunderstanding. I once played Boom Beach, ya can't dump the medals over there. You just have to wait till other players or the black guard come and take them. Which in turn stops your raiding when ya climb so high you hit the wall that stops any more resource intake. See, over there ya gotta kill the HQ to get any resourses. I deleted that one too because I got tired of hitting that wall and having to wait a couple weeks for my medals to drop back down while the skippers were crying bout the stupid intel so they could run an Operation, smh.

Here, I can climb as high as I want as long as I can find bases the age above my age. I can also purposely lose medals down to the floor of 200 if I so choose. Why, because this game has these insanely expensive walls to work. I don't have time to sit around waiting on others to dictate my play time. So I am constantly up and down the medal leagues *righteously smiting* for much needed resources so my workers stay busy.

Seriously, if anyone loves those medals then they surely love those *one drop and done* people cause it's giving them more medals. So if what you are proposing is taken to light by Nexon, it doesn't hurt me there either. I use raiders and loot resources while I'm dropping medals. Lol I bust 100k a lot this way ;-]

What are the advantages of having a high medal count? None

Forget the medals.

True. Protect your mills and markets and upgrade, upgrade, upgrade. If you have well protected town you can expect up to 10 days without ANY attack.

When I Dump medals I just drop 1 rifleman next to a tower then leave. What you are referring to is raiding parties. I've been raided by an onslaught of people.I don't think this has anything to do with medals. Your resources may look like some sweet candy that is easy to get. If you want to stop the raiding, climb to the 2200+ medal count and I can promise you the raiding will stop and the crushing will begin. You will get your treaty and some fierce competition with it. Raiding is part of the fun coming up. You should try it! Ludog Rogue Mafia

Hugh Jazz The question is: do your really need them in such huge amounts? I'll give you my example:
I'm currently at 750 medals (gunpowder 113), I have full markets, mills and goods store. My upgrades never stop. If you are lucky you can take up to 200,000 of gold from my caravans and same from my farms. In attacks I use only base army without blessings and mercenaries. I just don't need them. I didn't experience any attack since few days.
In my opinion the dock resources are not so important. You can collect them and spend at the moment you will really need them (mercenaries during World War attacks).
And the last remark:
High medal count = many attacks
too low medal count = many attacks
moderate medal count = none or almost non attacks.
You can chose. You wanna have easy game or you wanna be a resource donator that is frustrated because of the attacks.
