Here is my base layout at the medieval stage. If anyone has any suggestions or wants to copy it feel free. I would love to see some suggestions. Especially with how to work out my road layouts. :) IMG_2193.png

Here is another one I just made that protects resources and makes a better road network connection to achieve a better gold bonus. Also the acropolis is in range of all garrisons and stables and even the coliseum which gives them a defense bonus. I left the town center out of the walls because if you wanted to copy this base it is obviously not a medal base as someone can easily grab a quick victory. I have noticed to farm a decent amount you must stay down at low medals anyways so it works very well anyways :) Again, if anyone has any comments/suggestions let me know. My town center shoots enemies anyways.

This base is evil. I like it. Other than possibly sniping your TC I don't see anything worthwhile to do.

u guys are kidding right? u deploy on top of colliseum then rally on town center. which gets entire army to punch thru the weak walls. once they destroy the tc as a group the troops spread to all 4 storage buildings which are right there

Make sure you're looking at the bottom image rather than the top one, because the top one isn't so great, but the bottom one I like.

I'm assuming you mean rally to the acopolis rather than town center, but while your army is working on the wall, they'll be under attack by a catapult, a ballista, and 2 garrisons.

By the time they finish with the acropolis and spread out they are going to be under attack by another catapult, another ballista, another garrison, two stables, a castle, and 1-3 towers, but the catapults especially should eat through soldiers quickly enough that they aren't the largest of threats.

That is enough defensive units attacking them that they are not likely to last long enough to collect his resources unless they're significantly more advanced. It is still a rather strong base.

The main weakness I see is that the horsemen and troops from outside garrisons have no good way to actually get inside once they're triggered from inside the base. It would also be a very good idea to expand and put walls in between acropolis and the resource buildings, and now that I'm looking, there do seem to be enough available walls-space to do that.

A composition with a lot of ballistas and archers might have a relatively easy time taking all of the resources out .... But if i'm using ballistas I'm going to want them back, and taking out all of those defensive structures would be a huge pain because of how they're positioned.
