Monthly Community Poll

Every month, a poll can be made by the community managers that would include ideas and feature requests made by the community in that month. The community can vote on which change they would like to see over the period of a week, and the change would be implemented into the game in the following month(s). This would give the developers more of an idea of what the players would want to experience in the game and what would greatly increase their enjoyment of the game. The poll should include only reasonable ideas and requests that can be implemented in the game with reasonable ease. Happy players are more inclined to spend money on the game as they would feel more involved and engaged in the development of the game.

Great Idea! They can show they're listening to us and we can let them know what we want without whining, but I'm sure there'll be a fair bit of that too!

Of course a poll would make it a lot easier to focus on what is widely desirable, so I'd be in favor of such an idea.

Saruman the White points out my favorite part of the forums, where a lot of great ideas are born. I try to call these ideas out when being passed to the team - I could try to call out the patch notes where these ideas make it into the game.

Often, an idea leads to a discussion on the team, and that will grow and develop into a new unit or feature. Some suggestions take several releases to develop in the background, before being added to DomiNations. Other ideas are tested, and are put aside because they aren't fun enough.

We can do our best to incorporate more polls and interactive touchpoints where we can in the future, MSS-Gaming!
