MP match making problem in digital age

Hi I am digital age ( just migrated) with level 308.
Medals 4040.
For some reason since I migrated to digital age I keep getting attacked by drone age players which are 2 levels ahead of me.
This never happened before as since I started playing the game only 1 age above -current age and 1 below me attacks me but never I got attacked from players who are 2 ages above me.

Is this normal or is it just me?

Oh no I trust you on this, even though when I was space age I could only have either digital age or space age or cw age, now I am digital I only find spac(few) digital ( even less) but mostly information age. No I was wondering are you sure its good idea I go directly to information from digital? My MP offense is not yet strong enough I mostly get 2 stars now and few 3 stars. i wanted to finish my offense upgrades first and go information age maybe in the summer?

Yep the dilemma is big, the first few weeks will be harder than usual but the gains are enormous.
What troop combo are you using for loot? Do you have a museum for more oil? Weapons?

I am France, I use mostly barracks troops, 4 cavalry, artillery & mortar with 2 heavy tanks . I used to use 2 transporters with 2 fighters but now I changed to 1 transport with recon ( which is an awesome new unit for me) and 3 fighters. I have 90% loot without the loot blessings & damage to these troops that I use, I used to do very good in multiplayer in space age, always in top in my the sesonal multiplayer & I used to max enemies in mp with only 2 or 3 tactics, now its a bit harder but I am still above 4000 medals. I think as soon as my offensive troops get updated & I finish the library things would be better. I also like 85% done in the whole university.

Drop to 1000 medals. Loot like normal but pick easy bases. Do not use cavalry. They are crap.
(The most efficient way to loot is HT/Para. The next best combo is mortar/siege/apc but requires IRB to make many attacks.)
Go info age and enjoy the hermitage wonder (Make it a top priority)
Upgrade only the troops you use.
Once you max the troops for digital age then keep working on info level.
Stay low on medals

library, uni, armory, main attacking buildings ... all require oil...do not worry. You will have something to do with it

Okay I just changed my army and dropped the heavy cavalry. My apc is not upgraded at all but the rest are. Thanks a lot man !!
