Must these be done before going to the next Age ?

I am currently in CA, and i have upgraded everything, 2 catapults, lvl5 walls, gates and stuffs . But there are some remaining things : Farms, Caravans, Expansions, Traps and researches . I have Pottery and Exploration left . So i'm wondering, should or must I upgrade all of those first, before going to Medieval Age ?

You shouldn't upgrade those ever. Expect pottery and traps, all the rest are useless.

Nothing ever NEEDS to be done, you can always go up in age without fully maxing. Only thing to consider is that once you move up in age, you can't attack down i think two ages and you can be attacked by stronger and stronger opponents. Which means if your army isn't maxed its hard for you to attack at your new age and if your defenses aren't high enough people can roll over your base too easily. Since you have gotten most things in CA, i'd say go ahead. Do Caravans and Farms during the time your TC is being upgraded

Never bother with farms, caravans, and oil wells. The economy in this game is a joke. Traps can be individually upgraded when 3 other workers are upgrading towers/ballistas or clearing forests.

Just max your offensive upgrade and move as fast as possible to EA. Until you have training blessing in EA start to max everything except farm and caravan. Don't bother to research the pottery until you have the TB.

Don't listen to them - except about the farm/road/caravans, these really CAN wait - doing specific researches as you go is also a good idea. Not all of them - but you'll figure out which.

Although .... even upgrading your farms/caravans a little at a time - say up to lvl 6 or 7 - can be worthwhile. A few hundred thou' each morning or night is nothing to be sneezed at.

Yea i have all lvl 6 and 7 caravans and farms, they give me quite alot after a day . I just don't know if some researches are worth spending on . But thanks for your suggestions .
