Need Help Backing Up My Account

Hi Guys, Im Rod and I just started this game. I have played clash of clans for almost two years and it is getting stale so this was a welcome refresher. At the outset, I want to say thank you to Aulia! I have read through all the forum posts and sometimes people have not been nice but she seems to be a great help! Thank you Aulia. Even though people sometimes don't show it, we appreciate your help. What I need help with from anyone is on backing up my game. Im in USA and I play on an iphone. I changed my settings to Canada and downloaded the app. I played through the tutorial then switched back to USA App Store. The game is working fine but it does not show up in Gamecenter. I even purchased crowns today and that worked fine. Anyone know what I need to do to make sure my game is backed up? All help is much appreciated. Thanks Guys!

Even though the game doesn't show up on Game Center, I believe it is already backed up. DomiNations doesn't show up on Game Center for me either...

I think because the game is also server based you're good to go Rod. One thing that is VERY important in my opinion, but is not widely posted about is your player ID. You can get this by going into Settings, Customer Service. It's at the top of the screen. That's your unique ID I believe. (I've seen other players named Andy - so I don't know if Nickname is unique?!)

Keep a copy of that somewhere - just in case you have to reach out to support in the future.

I think my game is backed up in game center because when i open the game center app i see the game there with all my achievements. However, when i open the game and click on the setting tab it appears as if i don't have any game center synced to the game.
My question is... is this preventing me from seeing my Game Center friends who play the game? Because when i click on the friends tab in the alliance gate menu i see no results.
