Network error while playing

The network error keeps popping up while I'm playing.. Wondering what's up with that. Everything I do ingame is being saved without any problems.. So why the error?

Hi, Skyrider -- thanks for including a screenshot of the error message. Would it be safe to assume that you're gaming on an Android device? Also, the maintenance that occurred the other day was meant address the volume of reports we received about network errors, but it looks like it had the opposite effect for you. Let me know if there's any other information you can share about when this 'Network Error' message pops up (i.e. what were you doing? were you upgrading a building? If so, what building? etc.) Thanks!

Ya, I'm on Android 5.0.1 (lollipop). Currently (atm) it's not showing, though it does randomly. Unsure what is causing it, yesterday it was showing out of the blue without me doing anything. My buildings were being upgraded (farm and caravan) but the network error popped up after I checked my building left-over time a few hours later. I merely wanted to collect my food and gold when the error was showing up (before even collecting).
