I have a new idea, called reserves or reserve army These reserves will be recruited in a special building for deployment for either defense or offense. Basically like the donated troops but you know, reserves. These will have typically lower health and damge because it doesn't see most action in the front lines. These will be limited upto or the same as one barrack building only. You could place regular troops (not mercenaries) in it. These men will be limited in numbers to balance the game. It will cost you both coins and food to recruit as they are the ones defending, so they need to be paid or revolt or something. It will be somewhat from moderate to expensive to replenish them or something. There can be a button, "Move to frontline" button to enable them to be frontline troops so they can't be active in defending and vice-versa. They will be buffed if they will be placed in the main army. Once the limit for the army is reached, the reserves cannot move back to the main army. If your army is depleted and needs to be hurriedly replenish to grab more loot, you could always use them. What do you think about it? Write in the comments below!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what you are suggesting is that there be a "reserve" army that can be placed on defense or offense, in defense they act like defenders, but for offense you can deploy them if you need reinforcements, however they don't do that much damage and have less health. If that's the case, I'd say its a pretty good idea, especially with the revolt factor

Developers and fellow gamers, another idea here...imagine being able to use idle citizens to help hurry other ongoing construction/upgrades?? For example 4 citizens are upgrading and stable and it's going to take 24hrs. But you have 6 other citizens just chillin' So what if you were able to add some (or all) of those extra citizens to reduce construction time? What do ya think
