Just a couple of questions about the new library research available in Global Age. I thought I'd ask if anyone who's reached the Global Age or the mods know the answers:

Resistance: When it says "Barracks produce Shock Infantry when destroyed", does that mean one unit or several? If the latter, how many? Same question for the next three tiers of research, although I presume the last one only produces one Heavy Tank...that probably also means the others are single units too but thought I'd ask. One shock infantry seems a bit laughable, even though you do have three barracks, considering the research is probably going to cost in the region of 4-5 mil. However, it will add an extra element of strategy since they could pop out right next to your artillery I suppose.

Heritage: Is Versailles, which adds 10% to the health of both offensive and defensive troops, considered a defensive or offensive wonder?

I would've thought an offensive wonder is one that gives you an advantage when attacking - so yes Versailles would fall into that category.

However, it's also defensive since it increases the health of your defending troops too. So do you get 10% bonus from both the offensive wonder research and then another 10% bonus from the defensive wonder research? I, as a Versailles user, certainly hope so! It would help to make up for its pathetically small AoE anyway!

I think that Versaillles is strong enough (I have it too), but I agree with Ravenlord

I would say only the attacking part - hence ''offensive'' ??

its area of effect is for the slow effect only. Other effect is applied all time, all map, even after it is destroyed

How many light tanks my armory will produce I find out in ca 5 hrs

The boost from Versailles and Brandenburg gate is small but everything helps. It is 10 extra of the wonder boost so with Versailles it is 44% health in stead of 40%...

That sounds more worth it for the Barracks bit anyway. However, I must admit it would be funny if the same applied to the Heavy Tanks at Resistance Tier 4...
