New matchmaking system

Alright, so I've been playing Dominations for some months now, and I am closing in on enlightenment age. I haven't rushed ahead and been upgrading/reasearching everything before hitting the next age.
Here's the issue:
Higher age players constantly bashing lower age players, preventing them from advancing. I would hate starting as a new player at this time due to the poor matchmaking system currently in place..
Once you reach a point where buildings cost 700k-4mill each, you have 2 options, either:
1) Stay online in order to prevent getting raided repeativly by Enlightenment age players, or
2) quick-buy the amount of food/gold from the store and use it right away.
It is simply NOT possible to defend yourself against top aged players. It doesnt matter if you have all of your defensive buildings and walls max, if the enlightenment age player wants to raid you, he will.
The amount of times I myself have bashed medieval/classical aged players, knowing full well, they'd have no chance of getting their resources back, are beyond counting, so I am just as guilty as the enlightenment aged players doing it, and why shouldn't they/we?

Currently there's nothing to disway higher aged players from bashing newer players. Nothing at all, which I think is an oversight. In a few more months you'd have tons of players repeativly bashing every new player trying to upgrade his/her's first catapult or advancing to the next age.

So here's a few suggestions:

1) Remove the ability to see how many resources the player you are scounting out actually have. If you rob a random person on the street, you wont know how much money he has on him, until you hold him up.
2) Redo the Vault building, making players able to store FAR more resources which can't be seen by the attackers, but let the attackers able to loot whatever is in the vault if they destroy it.
3) Increase the amount able to be stored in the vault.
4) Decrease the amount of loot you recieve from attacking lower aged players. (-50% fewer resources pr. age? )
5) Redo the matchmaking system, limiting people from beeing able to attack players not from their own age

as it is right now, even medal dumping down to 400 medals wont protect you from getting raided repeative by the highest aged players, as many of those have done the same, trying to "hide" and avoid getting matched by high medal high aged players, while trying to save up for the next building.
