Spain: Faith and Exploration (v 2.0)
Nation Power: +10% Blessing Power; Expeditions require 1 less citizen, +1 Expedition slot.
The Spanish had explored much of of the New World, that was, North and South America, on a quest for gold and other riches. They did find those, along with the native tribes they had decimated, namely the Aztec and the Inca. Along with decimating those tribes, they spread Catholicism to the natives as well.
Nation Architectural Style: Mediterranean (like Greece and Rome)
Nation Military Style: Mediterranean
National Trade Good: Olives will be gained from 3-5 starring Spanish bases.
You can't mention Spain without mentioning olives. I've been to Spain personally, they grow a ton. They make great olive oil, too.
Unique Unit: Conquistador; -1 Troop Space with the Heavy Cavalry (-2 Industrial Age with the Tanks); No damage penalty to Resource Buildings.
This is a Heavy Cavalry/Tank unique. So your Conquistadors will have 5 space and your Trubias or whatever have 8 space. I hope that clears up everything.
Unit Progression (Iron Age to Atomic Age): Conquistador, Veteran Conquistador, Expert Conquistador, Master Conquistador, Grand Conquistador, Trubia A4, Trubia Naval, Verdeja 2, AMX-30E
Trubia Naval and Verdeja 2 are the Global Age uniques, because tanks needed 2 upgrades for some reason at that age.

Turkey: Education and Spoils
Nation Power: -5% Library, University, and Armory Time and Cost; Double All Oil, All Gold, and All Food Bonuses
The Ottoman Turks had created many libraries which held famous scholarly works which have been translated to their language. They also had great success in battle.
Nation Architectural Style: Middle East
Nation Military Style: Middle East
National Trade Good: Copper will be gained from 3-5 starring Turkish bases.
Unique Unit: Yaya; +25% HP
This is a Ranged Infantry unique!
Unit Progression(Iron Age to Atomic Age): Yaya, Veteran Yaya, Janissary, Veteran Janissary, Expert Janissary, Mansure Soldier, Turk Rifleman, Turk SMG

Realized Spain's unique unit would still be weak compared to the other Heavy Cavalry uniques. Now the Conquistadors will have no damage penalty to Resource buildings.

Spain is certainly an interesting suggestion for another heavy cavalry nation, although my preference lies with Russia.

You realize that new nations = new NTGs? that means more coalitions. You also realize there won't be many players using those nations as it would take a new 'Spanish' player years to get to Atomic Age? that means those NTGs would be a nightmare to gain. To counter that, they'd have to make those nations OP so that players would switch to them using crowns. Then you'll have the remaining players of the current nations pretty upset.

I am perfectly well aware that new nations means new NTG's. I could say the same for just about any other nation (except maybe the British) regarding your second statement. They will make it easier to get NTG's... eventually.
