The names may be kinda terrible (for Classical to Enlightenment Age), but I think we're ready for one of the most famous nations in European history. That and Russia.
Here are my reasons for Spain to be implemented:
They have been known for their First Wave Colonies. They also had a sizable navy until England crushed it though. However, the Conquistador knights were very powerful and were land owners. They also manage to destroy and army many times their size (of course with a help of plagues). They also had the leadership of the mighty Charles V during the Gunpowder Age. However, they showed many signs of decline because of overspending and lack of economic development as they relied too much upon their colonies for revenue. They were also very devout Catholics, and that shaped history more than anything else Spain had done.
Their Uniques
Unique Ability (Colonies and Religion)
To reflect upon their imperial achievements during the Gunpowder Age, and their religion:
League Boat arrives 12h earlier and provides +1 trade good, Domination Loot Bonuses: 20%
This general term refers to the League Loot, Destroy all Food, Destroy All Gold, and Destroy all Oil buildings bonuses. This for the ease of speaking and it compacts the amount of text put into a Nation screen.
Grants Free Blessing: Once weekly
Unique Unit: Conquistador (+10% Health and DPS, -1 Troop Space, Moves Faster)
The Spanish conquistadors were light cavalry. Their armor was limited to chainmail, a steel breastplate, and a steel helmet. Due to the warm climates the Spanish were in as they were in the Mediterranean, and the warmer climates of South and Central America, heavy armor was impractical for the Spanish military. However, they had incredible mobility.
-Iron Age: Conquistador
-Classical Age: Veteran Conquistador
-Medieval Age: Expert Conquistador
-Gunpowder Age: Master Conquistador
-Enlightenment Age: Grand Conquistador
Spanish-born tanks were rarely seen in combat outside of testing. The prototypes of these tanks had performed well during testing although the tank programs were getting canceled. The Trubia A4 prototype tank was created as an improvement to the Renault FT they procured from the French. Eventually the Republican Forces of the Spanish Civil War created the Trubia Naval, which saw use in the Spanish Civil War (needless to say the Trubia A4 was also used during this war as well). The first to get mass-produced was the AMX-30E, an improvement to the French AMX-30 light tank.
-Industrial Age: Trubia Naval
-Global Age: Verdeja 2
-Atomic Age: AMX-30E
-Space Age: Leopard 2E
I hope you all will like this suggestions as much as I do.
