Its getting beyond a joke now constantly hit by korean or Japanese players and when try to get revenge they constantly show Under attack!! they never show online they never show peace treaty just constantly under attack. Im now upto 12 people this is happening with!! Now i dont want anyone saying anything about that they may be under attack or having a short window to get revenge!! this is only happening with these players all other that hit me i can get revenge on with no worries!! I have sent in a few messages to admin and as of yet have had no response about any of them!!! This game is by far the worse i have played in which it is rife with cheating!! seems that if you aint cheating you aint playing the game correctly!!

Not dismissing your main complaint, but why bother trying to take revenge in the first place?

I think I've only done it once or twice - one attacker made such a pigs-ear of attacking I took a look at their base - utterly useless design so I pointed out the shortcomings by flattening it.

Yep, I still wasn't lucky to make a single revenge in this game )) now when I am higher on medals it is even less likely like a defense win ))) users constantly under attack could be banned, tho

We're planning to update the FAQ, but suffice to say there are a variety of things to prevent Revenge:
- Player is online
- Player is under attack
- Player has a Peace Treaty
- Player is in the matchmaking queue for another attacker

For very involved players, you can imagine those take up a significant amount of time.

We understand it's not very satisfying to click REVENGE! and get denied; we're taking a look at ways to make it less frustrating. We all play here at the office, so we truly mean it when we say we feel your pain

While I appreciate your attempt to answer the question your answer seems to indicate a lack of experience with the reality of the problem. I have tried to get revenge on some of these players every few minutes, hour after hour, day after day. The same player will always show "under attack." Not online. Not under a peace treaty. This situation is simply not possible. Please find a way to look into this seriously. Thanks

Ha ha Eddie, you'll need to be quick, there is usually a 30s window when I log off before I get attacked. So you get 30s every 8 hours to try and revenge

You'll be happy with my base though, GP age defense, plenty of resources waiting for you as well.

It would be helpful to somehow only show the revenge button when it is actually possible to revenge and not when the player is in one of the status listed.

I understand it can be hard from a technical point of view with screen refresh etc... but at least if you open the defense log and the button is not available, it'll save you time clicking on it only to find out it's not possible to revenge. If the button is available, it doesn't guarantee to the match in case you are not quick enough to click on it for some reason.

So in the worst case, we have the same current situation (i.e. press the button but can't attack). But the improvement would not show the revenge button when it is not possible to revenge for sure (e.g. peace treaty, online, etc...). This will definitely remove some of the frustration.

Yes, the revenge button sure is frustrating. I have given up on it completely. It has a number of significant weaknesses. Firstly players always appear to be "already under attack" or have a peace treaty, Secondly it is a right pain in the neck to look up bases to check them out before you want to do a revenge that you probably can't do, Thirdly it is impossible to look up the base of someone who has raided you if they are not in an alliance. BHG/Nexon should consider removing the revenge button all together unless they can implement the following: (1) A small green dot next to the name of the attacker that indicates if their base is available for a revenge, a red dot indicates not available. (2) The capacity to scout the base for 30 seconds before you revenge it (like multiplayer scouting). My last revenge was about 2 months ago, so I think that is indicative of a non-functioning game feature. EITHER FIX IT OR DITCH IT.

I've been playing since the end of April. I've been as high as 2,700 medals, still empire league. I play several hours a day and I HAVE NEVER, NOT ONCE GOTTEN THE REVENGE BUTTON TO WORK. Just like the cheating, hack accounts not being dealt with, just like getting attacked back to back without treaty not being dealt with, just like RUSDI'S base not being banned along with the 10,000 other cheat accounts, just like every other issue I've dealt with and reported and been told for 4 months that they would be fixed. NOTHING IS EVER FIXED ON THIS GAME. NOT EVER, NOT ONE SINGLE PROBLEM!!! THE MATCHMAKING ALGORITHM, WHICH HEAVILY FAVORS THE CHEAT ACCOUNTS THAT AREN'T BEING BANNED IS THE WORST ISSUE. BUT IF YOU'RE WAITING FOR ANYTHING TO GET FIXED HERE, YOU SHOULD CHECK BACK IN ABOUT 2 YEARS. NEON DOES NOT CARE!!! THEY'LL ONLY HELP YOU IF THEY KNOW YOU'RE CHEATING.

Cut and paste answers really give me the goat!!!! its obvious you have failed to read my OP correctly do i need to write it in crayon for you???

i have no issues trying to revenge anyone else (other nationalities!!)

How will updating the FAQ help me when im getting hit by hackers/cheaters???? Do not treat us like morons!!!

I bet you are not feeling the slightest bit on my pain!! I bet you have all in your office got good healthy accounts helped out by the position you hold and dont get hit by said cheaters on the low end of points.

Its great you got all these new and wonderful things happening to the game but its just more for the hackers to hack!! get a grip of the issues at hand first!!!! deal with the cheaters/hackers this will then im sure make more people relaxed about handing over there hard earned money in the game. Right now why on earth would i want to hand over any money to you in a so blatantly broken game???

I have played many games and yes the cheaters/hackers are there in all of them but truly this has to be the worst by far as my OP "if you aint cheating you aint playing" this is the mentality of this game and many who play the game are feeling this way to.

Cheater Issue has been for a long time, report but no ban. Not even the very obvious ones like double tc players. Though, I do wish the game was fixed.

May be you need to think more of pseudo-revenge, which lets you take back what was stolen from you even if user is unavailable.

Or even let revenge break peace treaties besides that purchased one. It could be interesting too and could balance france nation lol )))

Just do what most other games like this are doing more often and only have a limited amount of time you can be online before you can be attacked even if online as long as you do not have a active shield.

Also make it so people can preview the peoples maps even if they do have a shield or are online as preventing this normal ability is something that people can catch cheaters much easier if they can actually view the base.

The higher you get, the more engaged people are, unfortunately.

Ironangel, if you are lucky enough to get attacked by a player and then before he gets a peace treay or some sort, you can just hit Revenge and scout his base. Don't do anything and next to other bases then quit searching. Now go back to Revenge the player and you will never be able to do it again. The status will be locked at "Already under attack".
