Countless Threads of players concerns over pay to win and over powered Elephant Achers once again fell on deaf ears. The moderators here continuously imply they share the thoughts of the community. Clearly the moderators have no influence what so ever on any aspect of this game. If anything it has a reverse effect. The community states elephant archers are over powered and pay to win is killing off the game. NEXON's answer is if players think they are over powered then the must be a good money maker, hence the latest Elephant Archer sale. Break out your credit cards and buy a win. I have lost all enthusiasm that this game will return to a great game. It is truly a shame the low dominations has hit. Thanks again moderators for sharing our thoughts, and thanks again NEXON for taking another large step into the ultimate demise of your game.

Yep, this is turning into one of the biggest pay to win games in history. Just a year ago, the developer's letter said they were committed to not having pay to win elements. Obviously their minds changed. So sad.

$30 for one card really - sure, you can train them, but you can't stronghold them. If people really want to spend that, then I'm playing the game so differently to them it really doesn't matter.

It DOES matter. It shows they dont care about the average player and only those Whales that can spend endlessly. The whales arent the ones complaining its the average player, once we are gone the game will be forever dead.

It would be nice, if you could help a very frustrated community understand the intent and path the BHG team is taking what was once a game we all loved? I dont understand the response of wanting a link, but Ive heard the same sentiments from developers on the boards in the past as well. But rather than looking for it, I'd rather just hear what the heck BHG is thinking with all of these decisions recently.

I've been trying to find it, but the forum search tools are poor. But see Bowmore's link below. It's in your own mission statement!

Guys it's about making money, it's a business and these peeps are trying to make money...as much as possible...like all human beings! If people are willing to pay for it then it makes sense to supply it and make your share on it. People who cannot afford it or choose not purchase know (or should know) they are foregoing an opportunity to an advantage. I'm not going to be upset at a car manufacturer for supplying a V8 engine for my vehicle if I decided to stick with the V6 model and my car is clearly not as fast/powerful as the guy who got the V8. Let's get real people, we've been alive long enough that we should know these things, stop wasting time on it.

Nexon supplies it and people buy it...Nexon makes money. I don't buy it and I live with the fact that it'll be harder for me, and I'm ok with that.

I strongly disagree with this analogy. I am all for BHG making money, and think that troop cards while not my favorite...are also an important part of their business model and help fund the development of the game. Most of them give a nice advantage without being terribly unbalancing. Like the bazooka tower, Elephant Archers are very imbalanced, have no real counter. To me it does not make sense to sell something that is so bad for the experience in the game, and dedicated players and spenders alike should have every right to voice their feedback and try to help BHG understand how it makes many of their players feel.

Use CoC as the model, it is not pay to win, it is pay to advance. SC makes significantly more money from CoC than this game makes.

If SC were to make a coc game similar to this one, id leave here in a heartbeat and go play it.

when this games pbase dwindles so much that its pointless to play anymore, ill go back to coc or find another similar game.

I sure as hell wont be spending another penny in this game unless they make some huge changes, fixing many of the bugs/ai/war issues that are persistent in this game.

As far as your car reference goes, if you buy that v6 to go race and consistently lose to the v8's are you going to continue racing? No you will quit racing because you just cannot afford to spend the money you need to compete against those guys with the v8s.

There are many things I find wrong with the game, but this one feels like it's just taking money from whales for no real gain. If the cards were for sale again that's a lot more impactful.

Of course the developers need to make money. But I feel like Dominations has be one huge bait and switch. What attracted me to the game in the first place was the lack of ANY pay to win elements. 2 years later, it's among the worst pay to win games on the market. There are many other proven ways to make money besides pay to win. Numerous other companies have been successful.

Stop wasting our time by telling us we are wasting time.....what a tool. And as far as your poor anology goes, it would be like buying a v8 and it was meant to run like a v6 two years later....

Ideally yes, but SC has cornered a market that most other gaming companies envy. They can afford to do that and that is why they will continue to succeed, because millions of users will flock to their game no matter what they do and will spend. They don't need to find deeper avenues to make money, they were first to market and are king.
