NOT another "WAAAHHH IM QUITTING FOREVER!!" thread... Just heading back to CoC
So I realized today that I haven't played in about 11 days or so. I logged in worked my way back down 700 medals one soldier at a time. Trimmed my trees. Hunted my animals. Pressed my floating buttons. Checked in with my Alliance. Everything was good.
Recently I moved up to Gunpowder age so I have much to upgrade. So I decided to farm gold.
So I enter the matchmaker... First match Enlightenment base with no walls buildings in random locations all maxed... Second match, same thing.... Third same..
Something just snapped. In medieval age you hear about people cheating but you don't really see it when you play. Now every time I play I see bases like this or worse.
Suddenly I wasn't having fun anymore.
I went back to my base fiddled around with my base for a bit then switched over to Clash of Clans. My army that took an hour or so to build was ready. Enter matchmaker: First Match 400k G/E so I fight and walk away with about 300k G/E after a epic battle. I opt in just in time to get in on a Clan War starting.
Suddenly I realize I'm having fun.... with a game that I can only really play 1-3 times a day due to training times.
To progress in Dominations i need to commit so much more time for so much less progress that I just can't keep up the pace. Or more accurately I just don't want to anymore.
So I quit my alliance and uninstalled.
I will be back if it looks like things are improving. Kudos to all those people bombarding the devs relentlessly with great ideas for change. I hope your voices are heard.
