offensive blessings: an option

pitch (mechanics):
after you purchase offensive blessings (armor, weapon & loot) they aren't automatically used for your next battle.

instead, during multiplayer matchmaking, an icon for each individual blessing is displayed in the bottom troops/tactics bar with the option to activate one or all offensive blessings before the countdown to battle timer reaches 0.

pitch (gameplay):
i think this would surely enrich the gameplay experience by adding more strategy to attacks and making the offensive blessings a more valuable use of trade goods.

with the offensive blessing option, particularly large or well-defended bases (relative to a players age and level) would present a more viable attack option. in addition it would open up possibilities for future blessings to be added (and appreciated).

pitch (balance):
this change may cause an issue at the highest industrial age levels in a maxed defense vs. maxed offense scenario. however, this could be mitigated by adjustments to the offensive blessings stats or subtle changes to defensive blessings.

if this was determined to be an overpowered option for every player to have, it could be added as a unique feature for a new nation/wonder or to improve an existing nation/wonder that is currently seldom-used &/or lacking.

pitch (investor):
making blessings more useful and fun makes them more likely to be purchased with crowns. blessings currently feel a bit stale, a positive change will keep players engaged and happy (and buying crowns)!

I think this would be great! So frustrating to see your offensive blessings wasted on a base where you wouldn't need it (same with loot blessing).

I'll agree, it would be cool if you could decide which battles you want to use the offense blessing in.

Also i was thinking about this before, and what if the offense blessings are stored in the troop tray, and when you want to use that blessing, just place it on the battlefield to activate it.
