This is actually old. If you remember at NEXON WW advertising. NEXON guys use 4 zeppelins in that video.

Faulty replays.... To the best of my knowledge, replays work like this: the only thing accurate is where troops are dropped as well as rally marks, plane target marks, etc. After that all bets are off. The replays base themselves on hoping that the troop AI is consistent and that the troops will replicate their doings. But it is rarely the case and as such replays become inaccurate.

Looking at my defense replays, every single time a plane was launched (whether the plane was shot down or survived) would count as a loss. For example, if your attacker has 3 triplanes and launched all 3 of them 3 separate times, the ending replay would show a loss of ~9. The defense log is batter representation of troop composition, though I've discovered visual inaccuracies here as well...

Unless the listed log says 40 planes, it didn't happen. The replay summary lies.
