Pairings are ATROCIOUS

For the 3rd time in a row, we have gotten a very bad pairing. Nexon/BHG has to do something to fix this. The latest is not as bad as the previous 2, but is still horrible. Our first 20-25 wars were quite evenly paired, so both teams had a chance, and being close battles, it encouraged players to buy crowns, to get that little extra edge.
This 15 player war, is not quite as bad, but close. Our 15 players include: 3 Industrial age, 6 enlightenment age, 3 Gunpowder age, and 3 Medieval age.
Our opponents have: 5 Industrial age, 7 Enlightenment age, and 3 Gunpowder age.
We know ages can sometimes hide strength, so we counted the levels. We have a total of 1560 levels, or an average level of 104 per player.
Our opponents have a total of 1670 levels, or an average level of 111, an average of 7 levels higher for each opponent.
This discrepancy turns players off. Constantly being matched against way tougher opponents encourages people to quit the game, not pay money to attempt to compete.
Many of our players used to play Modern war, a game from the company Gree. Gree lost many players by catering to the thousands of players who would pay big money, rather than cater to the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS that would spend some money. Gree ruined their games by doing this.
If Nexon continues to match way different alliances in wars, they will just be continuing to kill this game as much as the cheaters are killing it. DON'T BE GREE DY

You complain about a 7 level difference? Seriously? That's not even a road upgrade...

Remember, level is not that important when matching opponents. What is important is defensive and offensive strength (upgrade)...
U can be a level 135 IA with all EA defenses/Offenses.

Guess you guys like to beat the little guys in PvP... Attacking players 20-30 levels below yourself...

Real warriors attack "up" not "down".

Im level 161 so I know all about what causes levels to go up... Number one is road. A single road upgrade can lift you up 10-20 levels. A Redoubt from lv 1 to lv2 barely moves your exp bar.
so 7 levels could be NOTHING! Find something real to complain about next time.

So you spent big money. Big deal. As I stated sbove, we'd like a competitive game, not one that the big money spenders will Excell at. That will kill the game

But level has little to do with that, Danix den andre and Danix the third are at 133 and 132 respectively, but there is no doubt about which is stronger.

I dont see anything wrong with the matchups as you've presented them. Comparing age or levels is useless, given that age has virtually nothing to do with ranking, and levels is more influenced by roads by a huge factor than anything else. Assuming those more advanced age people already did their roads, you might even have the atk/def advantage in that matchup.

That was an even match as far as I can see. I'd be happy to get that kind of consistency. But I think as everyone knows, winning wars in this game is only partly about relative stength. It is mostly about strategy and a tiny bit of luck.

If people are encouraged to quit - rather than try and improve their game or their level - maybe you're better off without them. Anyone can stay in their ''groove'' - the ones who try harder to improve are the ones who will grow and benefit from the hard lessons.
