Peace treaty 1 day purchased - disappeared and returned my crowns??

I purchased the 1 day peace treaty and 20 minutes later I got the not so pleasant notification that I had been attacked. I went into the game and lo and behold, my crowns had been returned and I had another peace treaty since I got attacked. I KNOW that it was purchased since I had 1d 5 hours in my timer when I left the game (Japanese).

What the heck happened? I'm not overly thrilled about such things not working, I can tell you.

To add to your report can you double-check to see if the charge for this purchase went through, possibly refunded?
