Improvement might be in terms of hit points, damage per second, AI, cost of training, training time, and so on. You may call them out in your comments on this thread, after voting for your choice.

Intention of this thread: Just plain hope that BHG would happen to see this, and improve the unit in a future release. We have had too many nerfings. Let's ask for a buff to units.

Note: If a unit figures at the bottom of this list, it doesn't mean that the unit is over-powered. It just means that the unit is still usable, and is well balanced.

You forgot the Guerrilla troop line. Needless to say nobody barely uses them.

I choose Ranged Infantry, not to make it better, but actually, to make it worse.
I find it very unnatural that some dude with a gun can actually hit (and eventually destroy) buildings behind a big ass wall which he should never be able to shoot over (and actually hit something).
That Bombards, Cannons or Artillery can do this, YES they can, but its my believe that if the wall is high enough (lets say level 8 or 9 walls), Ranged Infantery should not be able to just shoot over it and destroy a building.

Ranged infantry is currently overpowered compared to other units. I'd rather see other units get buffed (especially heavy infantry), but I agree with duck that ranged infantry should not be able to shoot over walls.

nerf ranged infantry dmg aganist buildings and increase seige units range so they become the main source of dmg aganist buildings
make heavy infantry able to hit through walls as before when their range increase in EA and up
prevent wall breakers from suiciding after doing their job
nerf guirrela dmg and reduce troop space in a way that doesn't make it OP like ninja but more reliable than now

units that r doing great and doesn't need nerf nor buff are supply wagons (just needs AI fixes) ,machine guns and tanks otherwise all other troops are unbalance piece of crap and whoever have special units in shooters are spamming them like hell

The changes I'd like would be to introduce more siege troops of different varieties in the earlier ages (when you first get walls) & these should be the only units to destroy buildings (except raiders burning farms & caravans of course).

The current soldiers & ranged infantry should only fight enemy troops & should be stronger against some troops & weaker vs others.

I'd like to see a new class of soldier that can attack walls & buildings with no more than 3 or 4 range (though not as strong as siege) & can attack troops with splash damage. This new troop could use fire in the earlier Age's & gunpowder in the later Age's.

I'd also like to see a new class of troop simular to the flampanzer & elephant archer (should be a new class of raider with the same speed as ninjas that is used against defending troops) that is strong vs defending troops & is available through the barracks & merc camp earlier.

The infantry are oddly not used as much as I thought other players should. I use about 20 fusiliers, with 11 yeomanry (I'm in gunpowder age) and 4 lancers, 2 wall sappers, 2 dragoons, 2 bombards and a single cart.

I voted Sabatoeur, because it is the only unit on the list that is completely useless in its current form. But many on that list need some work, particularly heavy infantry and machine gunners. Anyone who voted for ranged infantry or heavy cavalry is either trolling or needs to have his head examined.

Let's not get too hasty. They could be trying to get the Greek HC and Chinese Shooter buffed.

Heavy Infantry are terrible imo. Either remove their mortar weakness or buff their HP. Considering the Legion as the most useful of the Heavy Infantry, it still is barely more useful than the Greek Heavy Cavalry.

I think a simple way to buff the heavy infantry and make it useful is giving it double Hp and occupy two spaces

The only unit I need improving is my workers. They seem way too slow. Looking forward to them getting a boost to speed them up

Troops seem fine as they are. A bit dumb, strolling past buildings into the crossfire of towers... that could do with some improving.

I chose the heavy infantry, because it's the most obvious. But I don't use the whole factory, the heavy tank might be a bit useful, but the machinegunner and the commando need some love.
