Who in their right mind would spend 50 crowns to ripen a fruit tree?? You can buy a guaranteed 3 cider and the measly food directly with crowns far cheaper, and you don't have to risk the 40% chance that you would get ZERO trade goods. The cost would have to be 5 crowns to even make it worth the chance. I mean for 10 crowns you get a guaranteed 3 trade goods from the store house. Please change this, as 50 crowns makes absolutely no sense.

Based on the calculations, crowns are worth less than all of the trade goods. If you are short a diamond to purchase a blessing or merc unit it costs 20 crowns to make it up and also 3 crowns for any of the other trade goods. The conversion rates for a lot of the items are crazy especially when u have to give up so much for a CHANCE of getting so little.

The whole crown/monetisation side of things is weird - I suspect they've made crowns so valuable that 99% of players just hoard them, save them for a rainy day when they need that nation change or bought PT.

For anyone that just raids and doesn't compete for medals, there is no need to buy Crowns- ever (at least in Gunpowder Age or lower). I've never done so and I've never felt the need to do so. I can't imagine needing to, at this point. Maybe this will change once I hit Enlightenment or Industrial Age and build time becomes exorbitantly long.

Cider is the most important trade good, it gives you the best blessings and the best mercenaries, leather is the most useless. If you could have an armor blessing up for every battle, it would be far too good, that's why the stretch the time and crowns for it. This alone also makes the hanging gardens a pretty strong wonder.

Yes, but if you had zero trade goods, you can buy an armor blessing directly for 18 crowns! That's a GUARANTEED 6 trade goods for 18, versus spending 50 crowns for a 40% chance of getting ZERO, and even if you do get some it's only 1-3.
