Should raiders really be able to steal all they do?

Motos and miners are the bread and butter for most people just made the leap to a new age. People will always choose the most efficient way to farm. Just because it popular does not mean you have to kill it. Otherwise we have an endless cycle of nerfing. If you are getting raided non stop by motos and miners then there might be something wrong with your base design. I have an lvl 145 Global with EA defence but hardly get hit by moto and miners.

You've just hit the spot. Some people are inflexible and demand the world should bend the rules to they favor. There's a lot of game playstyles and the fun is to discover them and try something new. Just plain grinding would kill me, I wonder how people are managing the pure boredom of doing over and over again same stuff, same style...

145 globals with EA defences should hardly be hit by raiders, since an attacker should quickly find them and do a 100% wipe for a treaty. I know that is what I do when I see a 145 global as an AA.

That is correct. I should be be attack by someone big who smashes my base and give me a nice long peace treaty. The loot taken can be easily replace with 1 or 2 raids. The problem arise when you get repeatedly raided without a peace treaty most likely due to bad design.

I'm happy to be raided, I have my loot all exposed at the moment for two reasons:
I'm high enough and can make it all back easily. I can afford to give back to the community and it makes me feel better after all the newbie bases I've attacked. :D

And, this has not come out of the blue. People warned about this during nearly every change that buffed up defense over offense. People warned that the changes would encourage more of the raider attacks, and that people would lose resources without getting a peace treaty. The writing was on the wall for anyone looking at those changes holistically.

There were calls for people to adapt to the changes and not to cry about them.
Sure, people adapted! What we're seeing now is the outcome of people adapting to the recent changes.

Can we attack the symptom by nerfing raiders and wall miners? Sure! Sounds like a quick fix, and an easy thing to do!

But, can we instead focus on the root of the problem by bringing back the balance between defense and offense? And, can we make multi player raiding using full war army viable again without requiring tactics or mercenaries, with minimal troop losses and reasonable re-training time between attacks?
The missile silo simply doesn't have a place in the multi-player mode of this game.

Fixing the root cause of the problem will be beneficial for the game in the long term.

Otherwise, we'll just be nerfing more and more of the offensive capabilities, one in response to another. It'll be an endless and a tiring cycle of nerf after nerf.


You readers, if you have ever been in an alliance that accepts those little people that don't really have a full understanding (or even partial) of the game... well, those are the devs. That is their understanding of the game. This is why the game is going in the direction it is. They use raiders to attack bases in multiplayer so saw no problem with adding a missle silo... also, they aren't over enlightenment age, so don't really have to deal with the silo anyways. When they have, it is on their server with poorly designed bases and unlimited crowns to retrain.

To them we are just whiners who don't like change. Whine, whine, whine. And, then they see the trolls on the forums defending them and calling all the players whiners, and they feel they have friends. Ha!

They don't understand their game. And, they are too proud to admit it. Sad really.

And, if you are reading this, Nb4powerup and @tin soldier, if you (or anyone at nexon) claim to understand your game so well, let's war (players vs devs/nexon). In fact, I'll just do a pvp with you. You can choose the age. Unfortunately, my lowest account is industrial, but it is a rushed industrial, so you experts shouldn't have a problem with it even if you are EA. ;)

Btw, I continue to make this challenge and have heard no response... I am feeling ignored. But, I am guessing the real reason is you know I speak the truth.

You will find that there is no change in troop combo since IA.
Nothing new for GA / AA / CWA apart from linear scale up of numbers
