(Solved) [Forum] Effectively banned from the forum due to the "Invalid birthday" forum bug

I had to create a new account to post this because I've lost access to my old account. So this is what happened.

Apparently now your forum password expires after 65 days and you cannot access the forum unless you change your password.

So, I tried to change the password but upon clicking the "Save Changes" I was shown the "You have entered an invalid birthday" error.

Now I'm stuck with an expired password which means I'm unable to access the forum with that account.

This is not a new bug either. Here's a post reporting this bug back in Dec. 2014, i.e. half a year ago

Please fix this as soon as possible.

Oh, now we know who has trust in us lol. I had the same, but it works now. I stil have that moderation message though

I had the same issue too. What i did was put in my current and new password, and then switch over to the Profile tab and then click Save to avoid the "Birthday bug error". I connect using my Facebook anyway, but I had to change my password in order for me to go the forum. I'm not sure if it works or not though.

On another note, I have been trying to change my Time Zone, and never was able to since I also encountered the Birthday Bug. I have started a thread in this forum but no help was provided by Mod. I tried switching to the Profile tab method as I have mentioned, but it doesn't work. Please help.

@Alex Seems like you removed the requirement to change your password.

But attempting to change your password still gives the "Invalid birthday" error upon pressing "Save changes".

Yeah I can access my old account now. But it seems that that account's posts are moderated, i.e. posts don't show up after posting (probably pending approval).

p/s: Alex, if you're reading this, note that the "Flag" function has been broken for months.

I did remove that requirement. It was needlessly causing hardship on you guys. I'm looking into that issue as well.

I, too, have this issue (I was trying to change my time zone). It isn't a big deal for me, just fyi.

Gogo, you were actually a moderated new forum member. At the top of the forum home page, you can see a message saying that new members are moderated.

Moderated means your posts are not visible until approved. Once your posts are approved (like yours were this morning) you were moved into the trusted group, which is not moderated.

Thanks. I'm hoping to fix the time zone and birthday issue soon. It can get tricky under the hood with this forum.

I had the same problem, had to Delete Game and Re-install, all OK now didn't have to change password, account back to normal But with Moderation!!!
