Some clarity about troop chests

Ignoring people’s personal feelings about these troop chests and the odds of getting the decent payouts I’d like clarification on one thing if possible.

It seems whenever I have multiple versions of the same chest where there are, say 10 possible reward types inside, I get exactly the same rewards in every chest! Its almost like whatever rewards I get in the first chest I open, get copied into all future chests.

Is this what other people have found? Does waiting a while have any effect on what is likely to come out of the next chest? Are the odds of getting different rewards different for each player?

Its bad enough that the premium reward in each chest almost never pays out but it just seems really weird that I’m getting exactly the same combination of lame rewards in every chest I open!!

It would be great to get even a shred of transparency about how these chests work from Nexon, particularly whether or not the first chest you open has any effect on what you’ll get from the remaining chests....

Are you referring to the CW chests? I've received 3 or 4 different things already including CW troops.
I don't buy any chests or get any from Marco so I can't answer for those.

Sorry the confusion, yes I was referring to both Marco Polo chests and purchased chests. I don’t get many of them because the reward rate for anything other than the worst items is so low it’s not usually worth it. However a few alliance members mentioned that they were pleasantly surprised by what they’d got in some chests recently that I thought I’d give it another go. Bad idea. The same low level junk (mainly trade goods) in every single chest. My reason for the original post though was that it was exactly the same low level junk in every chest, not random assortments of different junk....

I never purchased chests with real money or with more than 5 crowns. I purchase chests from Marco Polo regularly using Rubies only. I can attest that I always get the same stuff from them. It’s always 5/6 Troop Tactics Cards and a few Training Blessings.

Maroco Polo’s troop chest has 8 chances for rewards at 8 possible regular rewards and a small chance to get double the amount of the regular reward.

8 possibilities and 8 chances. you get everything available, everytime. that is why you get the same thing everytime.

OP might be talking about other chests but this will answer Hansi

I always claim Marco Polo troop chests for they almost always contain 6 tactic troops and 2 blessings. Rarely do I spend my rubies elsewhere. Furthermore, I quitted spending crowns for chests because it is worthless to me, as I have never earned a building. But I value Marco Polo troop chests as very good.

I also have received the exact same troops from 11 chests more than once and then quit buying them
