DomiNations will run from the Stone Age to the Space Age ...and Beyond!

Are there modern units or technologies you're looking forward to seeing someday in the game?

I don't know, but biology, nanotech, antimatter, colonization solar system... A very old game called outpost was very good about future technologies...
But very good new for the future after space age
best regards

I would love to see Metal Storms(google it, it's wicked), stealth tanks(like PL-01), orbital bombardments(Missile silo in space), satellites gameplay(like Civ Beyond Earth), power armor... anything that is grounded in science and theoretically possible. There are a lot of articles and videos out there on the matter.

PS. I would live to see Digital Age, Information Age etc.
PS2. You can also go back in time introducing new gameplay mechanics in the form of an age update(Age of Colonization for example giving all of us a more interactive single player experience)

I would appreciate inter-alliance wars entering the game. Unlike friendly challenges, coalitions would be in effect, any tactics and cards used would be exhausted. Really the logical extension of friendly challenges...but now it’s for keeps. Would alleviate matching issues that persist, offer respite from the stack, or simply allow a match for alliances that have grown too big to match easily. Alliance leader sets the roster of both sides and hits “start”.

Howdy!

I work for Big Huge Games, the developer of DomiNations. The only major difference is which office I work out of. ;-)

I don't think these things will be too far off the mark - but no promises yet!

I'm Atomic Age and still have much to do. I'll have to overcome this stupid 220 level requirement for Cold War Age and things take centuries to upgrade! So I can't think of Space Age or Beyond for I'm afraid I'll never make it there. LOL

Atomic, Cold War, and Space Age all kind of overlap with each other, so it would be nice if they move beyond that timeframe with any future ages.

I think a Robotics Age would open a LOT of doors for new possibilities.

Think of the new library and university techs. And the new unit types would be ridiculously interesting, and have almost limitless possibilities.

Cyborgs. I'd love to have Brit cyborg shooters...

In theory, there are a number of ages that could come after Space Age, periods of significant changes in recent history.
Space Age is late 60s/early 70s so the next significant age could be the 80s (whatever age it's called) where we experiment with ICBMs & New Wave Music, then it could be the millennium or information age around 2000 and we can introduce the things Houkai mentioned: space wars with lasers, orbital bombardments, etc.
After that is the internet age where peace breaks out because the youth are too busy on their pc's and can't be bothered fighting. All your citizens never leave their homes and that's the end of Dominations, btw! :D

I think, market, mills and refinery could do more things, not just keep sources.
Like a trade between our own sources would be excellent.
