I knew about sandbagging by sending my mini account to fight alongside Volume Zero against some of the top slimers. But I didnt get the problem with stalemates until now. As has been mentioned before, when two really strong alliances fight they end up with perfect scores. In the current system perfect scores always lead to a stalemate (unless someone cheats and gets more than 100% on attack).
So now the top of the leaderboard is full of alliances that are either 1. not able to get a perfect score (they suck). or 2. Gaming the system so they dont fight really good alliances that can get a perfect score (they suck even worse).
Please!!! Nb4powerup or Seraphine try to have someone in the upper eschalons of nexon (the nexochalons?) take these issues on. The glory system is a really great idea and with a bit of tweaking would really highlight the top alliances.
Here are two easy changes to make...
1. Alliances are matched based on top half of the roster - for 30 player wars, they are based on top 15 players.
2. Stalemates are resolved based on average % destruction for every attack, not just best attacks. And ties with equal % destruction will be resolved by shorter average time to destruction to avoid any stalemates. Alternatively, just give both alliances in a perfect scores stalemate half their glory for a battle well fought.
