People have lots of troop cards gathering dust. But the defense aspect will be a big moneymaker.

I like the idea of a super strong defensive building. And the idea of a building that is both a mortar AND army-spawning is excellent (I hope it will have a ton of PVs so that it's a real challenge to handle it). But the idea of PAYING real money to boost it is absolutely disgusting. And it's crazy to justify this design choice by such a statement like 'by popular demand'. 99% of the posts and comments on This were to NOT do it that way...

Just want to say. THIS TOPIC IS ON FIRE. And for very wrong reasons. Nexon gets big fat F on this one. High I'm Iron Age account that can get 3 event army cards for defense 105 troops later an ia player had to 5* me. Yep we won the war. In other news the stronghold will limit your cards on offense and cause you to lose every battle on offense. PLEASE PUT THE GUY ON THE FOURMS WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA I promise I just want to chat :-/ or yell no accusations just want to know why he had this idea. And then send me the guy who second it :-/ because I have feathers. And I smell a fish.

If this comes out most old players will quit I posted the strong hold info in my side app and lost 10 players instantly , war was already in balanced now this is just plain stupid. We all should quit now not spend another dime on it when no one is left to play the game won't exist anymore anyway notice they went from 6 to 3 games my bet is if this happens they will be at one game it will be 7-12 alliances fighting themselves over and over and over , I see so many adds for chilled layer back alliances now no one even wants to war anymore it's already almost pointless and with this it's game over for Nexon , guess clash of clans will be making a big come back soon. It's a shame this was a better game but they are intent on killing it .

Yeah the other thing, I know it doesn't apply to all teams, but for me at least, stronghold being put in to bolster defenses without an accompanying fix for the awful sandbagging situation doesn't really have any positive impact imo. May help the top teams prevent stalemates which is nice. But makes an already challenging situation of facing sandbagged teams even worse.

Stronghold is nothing more then another revenue generator for Nexon. Expect many more troop card sales and gimmicks. Stalemate will continue. Nexon has one purpose which is to find ways to make more money. Get use to it because it will be never ending.

I really hope this is the worst news from this update. maybe it will be easier to earn extras?
Loved this game because of no p2w features.. estate and now this. very sad and disappointed :(

Right from Global Age update, game included some pointless building just to keep players busy (until they bring next Age),so they are following same pattern to get the time for Cold War Age.I really liked game before Global Age update.Here I list those mistakes from game developers -
1) Embassy- I don't know why one has to waste so much time for collecting NTG(collecting resources is enough time killer). As a casual player you cannot be competitive in WW without Coalition.So casual player don't find level playing field in WW.These players will be first succumb under pressure and quit. The only benefit is here for the game developers who got more time by choking our Armory.
2) University- This one is like a second library do give player power to get discount on building, strength of troops & tactics,etc. To make it worst it requires Citizens.I don't find the logic of University ,as all the benefits of University can done by nexon in game balance update.So it's another building for the benefits of game developers to buy more time from players.
3)Dock- It provides Troops,Tactics, blessing, resources and sometimes crowns reward.And again you have to send your citizens and sometimes Generals for 3-4-5 days to get your stuff.Another building to slow down the game.And what worst with unlimited troops Tactics card in WW, it creates imbalance between Attack and defense.

The purity and strategic requirement of the game during Industrial Age WW playing days is no more available for player after Global Age update. I love to play Dominations WW without Coalitions, University and extra troops.But the game update suggest me it's the game run by developers and right now there is very little room for players who use to love this game purity and Strategic requirement.

I know it's a never ending game,but please bring some sense in your game update. Its a good game,but going towards wrong direction. To be Rise of Nation and Civilization of mobile platform, more needs to be done.

Nothing against anyone or this game,just love to see this game in top list of mobile platform game.

I second this. All we as the community asked for was a stop/limit to the extra troop cards. Please don't implement this pay to win feature and the ridiculous presents again. A couple weeks of those presents and my inventory was completely flooded. If you introduce it again the game may become unrecoverable, and the leaderboard will remain completely stagnant due to stalemates.

The stronghold would a good addition if the dock is able to be used without workers and instead costed food/gold/oil to use instead.

This is such a good idea but I highly doubt we will see this change with the library tech already in place.
