sorry I'm new to the forum so this may already have been answered. How do u get tactics into the stronghold?

You have to have 'card troops' aka Troop Tactics available (either through Sales, Events or from the Dock). Then just select the Stronghold, click Troop Tactics and they should show up with an Add button to allow you to add them to the Stronghold.

This update greatly *reduces* the impact of card armies on the game. Previously, someone could throw unlimited card armies into an attack and win regardless of skill. Now, they can't. Further, I believe card armies on defense will prove to be a bit of a red herring - they're quite expensive to acquire and set up for something that can be negated by a simple Sabotage, and even if you let them spawn there's always Barrage and Betrayal.

They did not limit anything. Who would have spent unlimited card armies in one attack, when a single extra army is more than enough?

this is a good point... I am actually coming around to the stronghold... it would be pretty ridiculous to spend enough money to load up all warbases in an alliance with good defensive troop cards so it will more likely be underutilized on defense and in the meantime will limit the amount of total troop cards that can be used on offense in a single battle....additionally, it makes expeditions a valuable investment for free troop cards to load up on defense...

The Stronghold seemed like it was an idea to generate more revenue for Nexon. However, the absolutely horrible War Matchmaking algorithm produces very few competitive wars. As a result, we have little incentive to use these extra troop tactics on offense or defense, since they won't make much difference in the outcome. Basically Nexon was short sighted in arriving at this new feature. Fix the War Matchups first, and maybe people will care enough to use the Stronghold.

My alliance hasn't had a problem with card troops as far as I know, I say as far as I know because WE STILL DON'T HAVE WAR REPLAYS YET!!! Are we ever gonna get them?!?
