This really isnt a rush. Sure you can build stuff cheaper meaning you have to grind less resources so it does help, its just not a rush.

Rush to me means, it takes less time to build something.

So while its nice ill have discounts on building upgrade cost, its not going to help me 1 bit in "rushing" to the next age.

You noticed that too? While week long discounts on things are indeed better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, the rush part becomes especially laughable from IA and up.

Good luck taking advantage of any atomic age discounts while your global age builds still have a week to go.

What they should have done is bring back the reduced troop and tactics training time for the length of this event. Still wouldn't have helped with build times but it would have probably got a lot more people playing steadily and using crowns. C'est la vie.

That said, having advanced notice at least allows us to clear the decks for oil upgrades. I may try to get up to atomic age during that time. So kudos in that regard.

I wish there will be the reduction of workers, instead of resources, sometimes!!. It'll be helpful for higher ages.

I wonder if this means Cold War Age is in the works? Atomic has been out for nine(?) months I believe. I'm sure the devs would like a quick infusion of cash from the people who instantly max a new age in a matter of hours.

Even if so, its not really going to make them any more money. The people that always max with crowns are the only ones that will do it, while the rest of us will continue to progress as fast as we can the free way.

Im sitting on 10k crowns. Id love to use those crowns to quickly upgrade to the next age, but when its still going to take the same amount of time for upgrades my crowns wont go very far.

Yeah, but the business model seems to be to soak the few hundred or thousands of whales for everything they'll pay, not to nickel and dime potentially millions. No better way to soak the whales than to give them 1000s of dollars worth of new upgrades to do.

Personally I don't fathom the cash-to-max philosophy, seems pointless to me, but all one has to do is look at the leaderboard when new stuff is released to see it makes sense to somebody. We're not the target market.

Does that mean Cold War age is close?

That's a real possibility. Probably Fall/Winter 2017. They are pushing all ages to age up this summer soaking them for as much as possible then release Cold War Age.

unless you are going to take advantage of oil discounts, i assume thats why youd move up, its not really saving much of anything by this discount.

Doesn't need to be. If a someone is wants Cold War bad enough, they'll rush it.

You know Nexon is not a charity and all of these discount events lead to more profit for them because many players crowniz the upgrades to take more advantage of the events! So don’t expect them any discount on workers or upgrade time.

no idea why is it called rush, still i wonder if this replaces the current discount event system? am hopping to see a time reduction researches in univ or library for buildings just as the ones added for university researches time (which is very welcomed btw)
it's impossible for new ones and even not so old ones to catch up with old players and game whales who crowned their way to the max, which is disturbing the gameplay so much and making the fun limited to highly advanced players

LordJestix it really helps alot for gold and food upgrades not because of the resource cost but mainly cuz u don't have to waste time upgrading ur resource stores to reach enough capacity to hold the higher cost of new upgrades

Its called a rush, because they are hoping we buy a bunch of crowns and instantly finish upgrades so we can rush to the next age....i sure as hell wont be doing that.
