Supply vehicles healing themselves / Improve AI

In my time playing DomiNations and using supply carts, I've found them to be extremely helpful for all of my troops, since they safely stay behind and rarely, if ever, take damage. This is because my shooters and cannons are in front unless they're rallied (which should always occur to a location safe from defences). I've never understood why supply vehicles can't regenerate health, but more confusing is that they'll choose to ignore another cart. Unless you rally all troops to a location which allows the supplies they throw to go up in the air and come down upon your army as a collective target, they're not going to heal even other supply carts. Maybe it'd be a bit silly to allow them to turn the medicine on themselves, but I think that supply vehicles could really use the ability to at least heal each other.

This won't be particularly helpful under heavy fire (like from towers), because the carts will just die before being able to heal enough, but after taking a few catapult shots it's usually necessary for me to rally to a point so that my wounded shooters can meet there and receive healing, so that the healing splashes onto my carts. Their AI is awful whenever one Heavy Singijeon that has split apart from the other 28 riflemen in my military and gone to attack a lone tower. Of course, it'll get killed within seconds, but if it's a troop with a good amount of HP like cuirassers, the supply cart might risk its life going in the path of an obvious tower, Japanese TC, or, even worse, a cannon tower, then get pulverised by whichever defence is in the way. Can we make it so that, if a supply cart sees no SAFE route, it just decides to stay with the majority of the army, or stand still until someone who is not in the way of a defence building gets attacked?
