Your included in that Froggy...
Some of you astound me how you just feel the need to go around these forums add your negative and a lot of the time quite childish and sarcastic comments. The amount of times I have seen you guys at work and attacking people is countless...
NOW... If you go back and read the original post properly like you perhaps should have done in the first place, you will see that I had already contemplated the position of players who might not like such content! therefore their thoughts on such were not required.
Real world war themed games could be considered a niche market, so could mythical, so could sci-fi.
A game that could encompass these themes together, giving players the option of which parts they would and would not like to be exposed too could draw in massive player bases for which the game in its current state would not be possible.
More players, more revenue. Resulting in better servers and more investment in the game by the developers.
Adding a couple of new tanks here and there or a new nation like America, or a new War Tactic into the game will not make any difference to encourage a new playerbase into the game.
Something more imaginative needs to be done, and whatever that be hopefully it will then result in developer investment to create a slicker gaming experience for all.
They could use the docks for live PvP battles, but with a twist, rather than the normal base attacking, troops vs troops, with fingertip controls to control the units, that would add amother dimension too the game. BUT it would still only attract the niche playerbase, thus not opening up the possibilities of a larger integrated community and network of gamers.
I just wonder how long just for the sake of it will take for the next person to disagree and say that there is no need to attract more people to the game.
lol... have fun dissing and cussing eachother, you do it so well!
