Mine too but not like this, It´s a great game but every update makes things worse. It´s at a point where it´s almost unplayable now. If the strategy from Nexon is to make people pay for crowns to retrain troops I don´t think it will work. People are just gonna quit playing out of frustration.
I just recorded an attack of mine where my guys were literally wrecking the crap out of this base(similar level same age but I tend to hit like a hammer during WAR) and as my troops are running about destroying crap the General was running around in Harry's Popper's cloak of invisibility.

I ensured 4 stars and wanted to get rid of that general for a shot at 5 so I rallied to the ground next to him.
It didn't do anything. They all went to the position then carried on the their next building and completely ignored him.
I usually target the Castle with a sabotage and rally to start things off, but chose a different route for this one, for w/e reason.
Just be careful guys. The AI is completely screwy right now.
Players in my alliance report the same thing. And we're in the middle of the war, so this update is really screwing us. Artillery just moves in front of towers or other defensive buildings, and gets destroyed in seconds. AI is really a joke in this game, and it's only getting worse. This update turns out to be a real disaster.
Guerrillas are targeting everything but defensive buildings. First noticed it when he went straight for the TC, bypassing garrisons and mortars on the way. My last battle, he went from resource building to resource building, ignoring any defensive structures.
My "favorite" is when a lone troop keeps hammering away at a wall, mere spaces away from an opening. I've been playing a year now and this has never been fixed.
they should stop missing with AI and making unannounced changes to it, they haven't let a unit without screwing it's AI,
artillery prefer non-defensive buildings
artillery ignores defensive buildings and pass by it to get killed
more than 1 artillery waste their shots on a buildings that could have been taken down with just one artillery (like a house)
supply wagons keep healing 100% hp troops and let other troops get killed
supply wagons delibrately move close to towers to get killed
shooters separate from other army units and leave artillery/supply wagons unprotected
shooters dont return fire to defender shooters hitting them from behind walls
beside that they made all defenders AI preferance to target Cavalary or Tanks to impair their function which is unfair, they should make defenders target closet target just as attacker units

I agree with you. The AI of Saboteur is very stupid on last update now. He was passed over his near defense bases and targeted to farm or barrack and finally was killed by spike. Where is my real clever Saboteur? Did you see that sometime he killed soilders by bombing? Lol
The new update is freaking horrible, my clan are about to take on a massive war I was heading but I cant even bloody well login, black screen all the time! So over this.
Despite sub-trump troop intelligence level, u can still circle perimeter pretty effectively, once troops head into Walled areas it's over, try circling and see, def works wth German rally perk

Seriously, if you can't destroy a lvl 100, you are doing something wrong. I am lvl 149 and even after the new game upgrade, I can still manage to do total destruction every now and then even on maxed out lvl 175 bases. The AI is even dumber now, yes, but definitely not to the point where you cannot take out a lvl 100.
