Time ran out too quickly on World War battle

All, anyone know what the full duration of a battle is in WW? The issue: our Alliance leader (Chinese nation- Atomic Age) attacked another AA enemy base but only had 3min14s, and hence ran out of time to 5* that opponent. Whereas with other battles, we can see battles going on to 3min34s.
Why was he cut so short as he should have had at least another 20s to go? Is there a boost that we’re not aware that increases your time?

Don't trust the timer. Some people could even score in 10s...

there IS a chapter in the library that increases battle time.. but its available in gunpowder age so im not sure if your atomic player would have missed it

Ice man don't trust on the replays, there not a actual replay. For example a rally can show differences in the replay time since there not recorded accurate.
