Top 20?

I'm really curious to hear from people more knowledgeable than me in regard to how many legit players are currently in the top 20.

I recognize multiple names of known cheaters and people who cheated in attacks vs. my base. At least one received a temporary ban and is now top 20 with a base that was financed by cheating.

Anyway, I'll look forward to some responses. Devs?

The fact that every other base in the high leagues is absolutely maxed is good evidence they don't do anything about cheaters.

I'll never understand the decision to give temporary bans (what a joke) instead of a permanent IP Ban and complete deletion of the account, on the first offense. Sure, they might just make another account and do it again. But how many times are they going to spend hours maxing everything and laying out a base just to get deleted/IP banned again after the first few attacks before they get bored and find another game to cheat at?

Sometimes It feels like being punished for trying to play this game fairly when at the click of a button I could have 999,999 crowns and face absolutely no repercussions for doing so.

The official DomiNations twitter account tweeted a leaderboard of the top 5 players today. I too am curious about whether any or all of them have ever cheated.

I never gave in to all the cheating because I always figured there'd be consequences down the line. I figured they'd all be permantly banned which would have made all the effort pay off. Had I of known though, that all these cheaters were only going to get a slap on the wrist and be allowed to keep playing it probably would have been different. At some points you just say "damn" I did all that hard work and some of these cheaters are still enjoying all the work they didn't do!

I play this game for 9 months and i know how long it takes to collect food and gold. And how long it takes to upgrade your base to the max in every single age. To come into the Top 10, you have only these four options:

1. Cheating.
2. Paying. A lot!
3. Hardcore gaming day and night.
4. Have a super secret and outstanding strategy.

BigHuge make the current game very slow, because they need the time to program the next ages after IA. I mean, it takes 5 days in EA to upgrade something and it takes up to 2 weeks in IA i guess. What about the Space Age? Wait a month to upgrade to a laser cannon? If so, then start saving your money. It will cost you thousands of real Dollars.
