With the recent ladder going down for the last week or so many players on the forums and within the alliance networks of communication responded in majority they simply did not care.

The reason is well known by Nexon and every major alliance that plays within the top 150. The top 100 Has been allowed to be manipulated by alliances that hold multiple spots with abandoned teams.

I for one had hoped that the reason the Leaderboard had gone down was because in fact Nexon was going to evaluate and possibly create a simple rule requiring teams to participate in at least one war per week with their top 100 alliance in order to defend their position. Those that could not meet the condition would be removed from the top 100 and be required to play back into it. Unfortunately this has not happened. And we do not have a top 100. We have a top 79 as 21 teams have abandoned spots.

The teams at fault can solve the situation as easily as an NEXON. Choose one team. Make it the best that you can. Have Nexon remove others. NOONE is impressed that you have multiple abandoned teams in top 100 while not allowing others to obtain the opportunity to get there.

NEXON: Better yet, create a ladder for multiple leagues based on alliance player level like you already have done for Copper, Silver, Gold, Kingdom, Empire and Dynasty player levels.

The leaderboard is a complete joke. Nexon manually removed Loonies because they said he climbed to the top by means they did not intend.

Yet 25% of the leaderboard is now full of default cheaters and hackers with little or no medals at all and they are allowed to remain.

Given the idiotic manual progress bar of the recent anniversary event, one can only conclude the leaderboards are manually updated as well whenever the hell Nexon feels like it.

Yes, Nexon's utter indifference to leaderboard squatting and the leaderboard in general is perplexing, considering that war is supposed to be their biggest revenue driver. For a game that claims 32,000,000 downloads to have a leaderboard for only 5000 players, at most, is ridiculous. When one considers all of the squatters and sandbag accounts it's probably closer to 3500, if that. The infrastructure is already there to create alliance leagues. A liitle recognition for more than the top 0.5% to fight for would go a long way in all likelihood. There's so much relatively simple stuff they could do to liven up the experience for everyone, yet they choose not to.

Too many teams with hackers and abandoned teams. And KA making a joke out of the leaderboard. No reason to pay to win anymore.
