Tough but a challenge now

Tough after rebalance but more of a game now as I’ve been playin for over 3 yrs now and am lvl 256 CWA ppl. In our alliance (The Unknown) we’ve taken the good (new challenge) and the bad (p2w/rebalance) and still are having fun. Yes there have been those who were good friends that we’ve lost along the way but still this is the only game on my iPad. Yes I’ve spend some $ along the way but who wouldn’t spend on entertainment which they enjoy. We are still a fair play Alliance, OSH, no sandbagging and sit at 25k plus glory. While we understand that we’ll hardly beat cheaters or team of $ whales we do enjoy building our new ppl and tops keep adjusting. Our philosophy of maxing bases each age has paid off after rebalance and having maxed HT b4 all this doesn’t effect my game play at all. Wars r actually more fun now as we got tired of 5* bases and now a war which doesn’t come down to time seems more realistic. I don’t work or am not endorsed by BHG as u can see by my preivious posts. Just another ole school gamer trying to enjoy what’s left of a great game.

High CWA with HT - that’s the category that suffered the least from the rebalance (not counting iron or medieval ages). It’s like financial crisis when you had to change your Lamborghini for Lexus, while others sold their fords and walk now.

you guys that maxed HTs before the rebalances are the luckiest. For the rest of the mortal players, we have a long way ahead of us...

Preparation was key as it seemed that many alliance were preaching for players to just max offense and jump while we preached that maxing everything would pay off....which now it seems to have done

I would say there is a difference between lucky and preparation. We prepared so I guess we got “lucky” lol.
