Tough time to be a leader

It’s tough now to be a leader with rebalance, less interest in the game, most of us we got hope from Joe introduction but with the last offer for fast training blessing for planes was a real disappointment. For bringing more interest I decided to start a WW, and and unfair one.
I don’t really know what to do for keeping us together, any advise?

Our Alliance continues as it always has despite the re balance, we war constantly and haven't lost a single member due to the changes. I'm the leader of our Alliance which started in 2014 and a level 248 CWA. It's important for leaders to not focus on the negatives and to try to focus on ways of progressing despite the changes This is a period of adjustment and will take time to work out the best way through, but as we've done before we will work it out.

I think you can start asking your members, what do they think about world wars, is it worth it to keep going, or just leave it.
If they are still excited, or at least don't care about the win-loss, then I guess it will be fine.
If they have lost interest, I think it's better to suspend world wars.
Matchmaking, however will not improve with or without this rebalance.
My alliance have low glory, so warring or not, technically we don't care lol.

I guess you can start issuing friendly challenges with different base designs so that you won't get bored (in case you decide not to wage war).

There should be a documentation about world wars milestone after rebalance, I'm pretty sure it will say that half existing alliances have suspended world wars.

After the last patch this game has turned into SimCity. So much for the idea of "rebalance".

It really is.

I am 256 CWA co leader of a top 250 alliance... we haven't lost anyone yet either, but we've had 5-10 veteran players stop warring permanently. CWA players who haven't "pivoted" and are still british.

War now is just a matter of who has more CWA's with max defense that cannot be more than 3 starred with the open box layout. All of the successful attacks are HT rushes vs. the town center. Zero variation in defensive layout and zero variation in attack style. Very confining, less fun and I suspect as the permanence of the changes set in we will lose more players.

e: Sorry for not answering, I think the only thing keeping us together is the fact that we've been together for 3 years, but people are going to fall out of active play and off the roster... I don't think there is any advice.
